What upcoming first party software are you looking forward to?

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/blog/34609

In spite of the mixed reception online to the E3 Direct yesterday, Nintendo does have a rather full first-party release schedule for the second half of 2013 and early portions of 2014. You would be forgiven for losing track of precisely what is actually coming out and when - thankfully, in a recent briefing to industry analysts, Nintendo provided two graphics outlining their upcoming releases for 3DS and Wii U. Take a look and digest it all for a moment.

Nintendo 3DS

Wii U

Personally, I get a kick out of seeing no less than three titles launching in Europe before North America (simply because it is so rare to see and not because I'm a bitter British man!) Anyway, there is quite a bit to get excited about, and it is worth noting that, between the console and handheld systems, there is at least one first-party game coming out in Western markets every month until the end of this year.

What do you guys think of the releases? Let us know which games are looking forward to in Talkback.

And that's not even including third-party releases like WatchDogs, ACIV, Batman, and CoD:Ghost. I'm going to be poor this fall.

Is Bayonetta 2 really not coming out until 2014? Like Pikmin 3, I feel like we've been hearing about that game forever.

Quick question. The infor graphic says 2014 for Yoshi's New Island but every other source I see says holiday season this year. Is that an error?

This is the first time we have actually heard anything about the game since they announced it at E3 last year.

On the WiiU I would like to 3rd party once a month at least as while.  Right now Nintendo could offer a game a month sub and save us gas.

The official Nintendo fact sheet says 2014.

The "10" is for October, since it's the 10th month. If you look at the actual release date box in the pic, you will see it says "10.12" (October 12).

I think Nintendo should really push for Mario Kart 8 to be a holiday release.

I think Nintendo should really push for Mario Kart 8 to be a holiday release.

No chance, they already got Super Mario 3D World for November and Wii Fit U in December. Mario Kart 8 will be their big spring release.

Wii U has no games. :p

They're literally taking all of my game purchases this year.  And 3ds.  Nothing on ps3/xbox excite me this year.

Wow, I didn't realize how incoherent my post earlier was.  I was trying to say:

I would like to see a third infographic that showed a Third Party Game a month.

On the first party front the Wii U looks solid from August onwards.  But then what?  Do we get another drought for the start of 2014 (thought at least Mario Kart will be in there)?  I guess we'll have to wait and see what future Directs reveal.  But remember that E3 isn't supposed to just cover stuff until the end of the year but until NEXT E3.  While 2013 is going to get a lot better for Wii U owners, I don't think any of us want another drought in 2014.  The Wii had this feast or famine crap multiple times throughout its life and Nintendo really needs to get on that.  They can't just have a bunch of games rattled off in a row, and then make us wait months and months, and then rattle off a bunch again.

If Mario Kart is in before E3 (ie: doesn't get delayed) and they can move Bayonetta in that gap or surprise us with a few titles we don't know about yet, then it would be okay.  The problem always is that with lousy third party support Nintendo has to keep the releases coming by themselves and that is pretty much impossible.
