It was interesting to hear Alex's thoughts on Super Mario 3D World and how they changed to be more positive since he first played it. We often hear about people going back to old games and not liking them as much as they did when they debuted so it was a nice change.
I'm going to have to write down Perry's chicken wing recipe to try it out for myself. Sounds magically delicious!
As for the Nintendo Direct, I was pretty satisfied with it. Plenty of games to look forward to. Maybe nothing spectacular (Like BOTW 2. I don't count Splatoon 3 since it's more than a year away) but some good surprises. Really happy that the Famicom Detective Club games are coming over. That seemed so in doubt. I just hope they sell well enough to encourage Nintendo to revive more of their Famicom/Super Famicom visual novel library. Forest of Beginning and Shin Onigashima would be great candidates for updates.
Concerning the latest HD2D game, I hope the final name is Bravely TriSquare. Let's bring the game universes together!
