TalkBack / Re: Europe Expanding Nintendo Selects Line With Wii U Games

What is going on with Nintendo Land? So bizarre that it was removed from the US eShop. That stunt shook my faith in Nintendo's ability to handle modern digital distribution and they haven't done anything to change that perspective.

Looked it up. My 3rd party controllers were a Sharkpad Pro 642 and a Makopad. Both still work.

About that sharkpad, I recall having a 3rd party N46 controller that held up much better than my official ones (the control sticks specifically are in sorry shape). I feel like the N64 joysticks were possibly one of the few things 3rd party controller manufacturers did considerably better than Nintendo as far as controllers go.

Went ahead and double checked. City Folk was already added to the Selects line in 2011... What?

Still confused by the inclusion of Wii games (City Folk especially).

So, splitting the game game into two doubled the sales? Weird how that works.

So, I'm safe in assuming the Pokemon won't have a $20 DLC that nullifies the need for trading? I kinda wish Nintendo were brave enough to charge $60 for Fire Emblem Fates. People are constantly reminding me how games should cost more than they do.

When I see Ocarina of Time 3D and Pikmin 3 all I can think about is a collection of annoyed Amazon sellers because those prices are jacked up.

You can't make everyone happy. I'll be skeptical until there's a purchase icon on the eShop but are people seriously complaining about the reporting of a possibility? I don't... ugh.

I like how Nintendo put "achievements" in the same tier as browsing the eshop and their websites. I doubt even Nintendo's games could get me re-engaged in the soul-sucking mire that is playing for achievements and trophies. I get why people do it but the practice nearly ruined video games for me. Needless to say, I turn those notifications off and stopped checking the lists.
