Too few pikmin! hopefully the final smash will bring thousands to the screen, at least 100 as in the games. Well... with the limit that you need at least a pikmin to invoke the FS it might not happen which is a shame.

That's an EXCELLENT question. If Kirby's neutral B would be to pluck Pikmin, what the hell happens after that?

Unless they've redesigned Kirby so he gets a character's toward AND neutral B moves, which would absolutely rock...

I think his B moves will remain unchanged. However, his normal A moves will be enhanced by the Pikmin, as in he grabs a Pikmin and uses it like an item.

Although, Sakurai might have realized that Olimar Kirby would be pretty useless so maybe he gets some of Olimar's moves as well.

Kirby can probably only pluck one Pikmin at a time and if he presses B when he already has one he'll throw it.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

That makes sense.

Though I think that'll make the move inherently gimped, since I wager it's the fact that Olimar can COVER his foes with Pikmin which makes the attack worthwhile, unless walloping someone with a purple Pikmin makes for a good killing move.

Notice how, in one of the original four pictures, Olimar is swinging a yellow Pikmin at Mario? I'm guessing that his attacks will be different depending on which Pikmin is at the front of the line at the time, meaning that he could technically have 6 different movesets in terms of speed, range and power (5 Pikmin types and one unarmed).

Also, the Pikmin explanation makes each one sound like different, like how the yellow ones have "more range". Olimar is officially my most anticipated character.

I do wonder if every time you hit someone with a Pikmin, it'll die and you'll need to use the next one...
