Get the low-down on high-stakes poker with 12 World Championship Poker games including: Texas Hold'em, Omaha Hold'em, Seven-Card Stud, Five-Card Draw and Pineapple. Players may advance their skills in “Career Mode” as they play their way through over 50 poker tournaments.


World Championship Poker also features poker tutorials and six tournament locations, ranging from a tropical island to a Mississippi riverboat. Players create customizable characters with more than 80 different options to mold your player’s look. Players can compete and voice chat online via “GameSpy” for PlayStation®2 and via the world’s only unified global online console games service, Xbox Live.  


Exclusive to the PlayStation®2 version of World Championship Poker is support for the EyeToy® USB Camera (for PlayStation®2), which allows you to see your online opponents, as well as allowing them to see you.  Text chat is supported as well.


Exclusive to the Game Boy® Advance version of World Championship Poker are multi-player support for up to four players via the Game Boy Advance Game link® cable, and bonus casino games including Blackjack, Video Poker and Slots.


Exclusive to the Xbox version is the ability to compete against gamers in 24 countries over the world’s only unified global online console games service, Xbox Live. Xbox Live features for World Championship Poker include Scoreboards, Voice/Chat and Live Aware. What's with all the card games being released lately? I'd rather spend a buck on a deck of cards and put down $10 for a pizza, to attract friends to come play cards. And I'm still waiting for a game where you play as a janitor. The mop is mightier than the sword.
