quick question.

Have either of you read the leaked Deadpool script from years ago?
the one they are supposedly still adapting to film?

that was a good script, and it was R rated. not hard R, but still R.

when you 2 think R, what do you think we are getting? Because I'm pretty sure we won't be bathed in grossout blood and guts effect. R rating will most likely come from language, and most likely not from Deadpool even. There will be blood, excessive violence, and vulgar language with lots of crude humor and "adult" situations.

It will not be Saw, The Living Dead, Cannibal Holocaust, Hostel or anything on any of those levels. Just violently graphic and vulgar enough to earn a soft R rating.

I haven't read it no.  But the above is exactly what I don't want in my comic book shows.  But this is Deadpool and therefore the whole point to the character, so it's not like I am crying foul.  Just a bit disappointed after the lower rating rumours.

I do enjoy the character.  That first sequence in Wolverine was great.  Something at that level would be great (for me).  I'm not immediately discarding it.  I'll certainly be watching reviews closely.  Depending on them I MAY see it at the movies, but will more likely be watching it on Blu Ray when released.

Apparently the lower rating (and the PG13 from yesterday) is all an April Fool: they can't submit something to be rated when it hasn't started filming yet.

One week's worth of footage isnt enough to submit to the film bodies to determine what rating it gets, is it?

NETFLIX PICKED UP A NEW SKETCH COMEDY SHOW FROM BOB ODENKIRK AND DAVID CROSS!

A spiritual successor to the cult classic '90s sketch show Mr. Show with Bob and David, simply titled With Bob and David, is coming to Netflix. I'm so excited for this, the original was probably my favorite sketch comedy show ever.

No, but the studios approve the script and what kind of film they will be making.  The director knows if he can shoot an R rated film, or if he needs to frame his shots for PG-13.

Everything about this Fantastic Four looks not fantastic.

I really think with F4 you really need to go the Guardian's of the Galaxy root and just embrace the all out fantastical elements of the book and not focus on making it realistic or gritty.

A Fantastic Four movie should have more of a Meet the Robinsons/Big Hero 6 vibe, not grim-dark-we-are-sparta

Has Disney lost their mind!?

Do you guys remember that awkward Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp a few years back?

did you ever think that would lead to Maleficent, which would lead to the very successful Cinderella, and that in turn would lead to the green lighting of a live action Jungle Book, Dumbo, Beauty and the Beast and Mulan.

but now Disney is also making a Pinocchio and Winnie the Pooh!!?

oh, and a sequel to Alice in Wonderland too.....

what's next?
