Of course, I drew this after stealthily and speedily blasting through a level of Super Mario 3D World:

Is there really an advantage to having more yeahs?

Amount of games I want to play on Wii U  >  Amount of time I have to play games

I played part way through Pikmin 3. My semester is almost over and I really want to get back to it.

I've played some 3 player and 2 player Mario 3D World. Amazing! Can't wait to play more.

Nintendo Land: Luigi's Ghost Mansion and Mario Chase with 5 players so fun! the DK single player one was pretty good, too!

Earthbound, only about 6 hours in, but soooo good.

Little Inferno: although it's a one player game, played through it with a friend. There was a lot of humor in the game. We had a lot of good laughs. Well worth it.

Fluidity: it's a fun game. I maybe got half way through it.

Need for Speed & Assassin's Creed 3: haven't really had time to play these ones at all.

Darksiders II: only played a few hours. It's good but not great.

Arriving December 25th: Rayman Legends and ZombiU

Sheesh. I almost wish there were LESS games. I'm sure I'll evenutally get New Super Mario Bros U (and/or Luigi) and probably Wonderful 101.

Also, I think Miiverse is fantastic. I like drawing with the stylus and seeing what others have drawn. (This is particularly good for me, as I'm kind of an artsy guy.)

For me, I think this has been a good year. Probably better than the last few years of Wii lineups. 2012 had Xenoblade (in the US) and nothing else for me. 2011 had Skyward Sword and nothing else for me. 2010 had 6+ games that I thought were really good.

I'm sad that the Wii U isn't doing better (comparable to sales and image of PS4), but I'm having a blast with the games I have and am confident that next year will be just as good for me.

I tried the demo for AT:HIC and it seemed too easy.

I really loved Zelda II, though.

Weird. I didn't get all these questions in my survey.

I don't even have television on the TV set that my Wii U is hooked up on. Nor do I subscribe to hulu or netflix (at least, right now). So... under these circumstances, it will never have value for me.

It's pretty embarrassing.

Wii U games can only be played in surround sound if your surround sound system has HDMI inputs and supports six-channel linear PCM audio output.

I'm guessing Nintendo had to pay a small fee to use DTS or Dolby Digital (assumption).

There is no way to send LPCM signal through an optical cable.

I don't know why Wii U games don't or can't at least use DPL II through analog (red/white) cables, but as of right now, they don't. (Even though it works in Wii mode.)

They added the ability to use DPL II surround sound... while in Wii mode.

Nemo most TVs with optical output only use it for their built-in tuner, any input source would probably have a significant delay if they wanted to output the audio.

Ah. Good to know.

In that case, I blame Nintendo for being stupid and cheap.

I did a little research: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=500865 and it seems that there is no way for me to get surround sound out of my Wii U with my current 600watt surround sound system. My only option is to buy a new surround sound receiver.

Which is ridiculous... I could at least get the Wii to do DPL II surround. Wii U can only do stereo on my system.

I've had some issues with my launch 3DS.

It has the lines on the screen (from folding it shut). This is really annoying.

The casing has cracked in two spots, near the two external cameras. This hasn't caused any usability issues, but it makes me nervous.

My "A" button wasn't registering a press for quite a while. It didn't really feel off, but I would have to press it REALLY hard to get it to register. Lately, it has been working fine, but once in a while, it's just a little bit harder to press than normal (but nowhere near as bad as it used to be.)

I haven't played the Wii U as much, but I haven't had any substantial issues with it yet.

I can't get sound to come out of the surround sound system. My old receiver doesn't have HDMI ports. My Sony HDTV has an optical out, which I have going to my surround sound... but it doesn't play sound. I blame Sony.

I think I voted that I was going to get Zelda. But Mario got better reviews and I remembered I had $30 of credit on my Wii U eShop.

So far, I like it a LOT!

No, I hardly have time or money for video games right now and I already invested in Wii U (and 3DS). I still need to finish Pikmin 3 and I'll be getting Mario 3D World.

I also have barely gotten/played many games for 360. So, I could frugally dip into that platform's library.

The first thing I thought of when I saw the name was "Nice, we can call it Kirby 3D for short."

I paid $240 for my non-deluxe Wii U. I did buy a stand ($10 or less) and Nintendo Land ($20), so that means I still saved $80 over the deluxe edition. I doubt I'd buy $800 worth of downloads. So far, I'm probably around $100 spent on downloads.

Was it just my imagination, or did Nintendo promise (during the last Nintendo Direct) that StreetPass Relay Stations would now give the last 6 streetpasses?

I haven't experienced this yet. Has anyone else?

1. Legend of Zelda (NES)
2. A Link to the Past (SNES)
3. Majora's Mask (N64)
4. Zelda II: The Adventures of Link (NES)
5. Ocarina of Time (N64)
6. Minish Cap
7. Four Swords Adventures

Dishonorable mentions/games I got but never finished:
A. 1 of the two Oracle games (I beat the other one).
B. Phantom Hourglass. (Terrible. Never got Spirit Tracks.)
C. Skyward Sword. (I'll finish it some day, I guess.)

Khushrenada, go to a GameStop (or any place with a demo unit). Set it up so that its streepass plaza has a female mii in it, then turn on your wireless on your 3DS. Bam. 5th streetpass.
