I bought it the first chance I could!  While I'm waiting for the physical edition to read it all (like I would with Nintendo Power - avoiding web coverage of it's news until I actually had the magazine in hand), I peeked a bit at the digital version and the quality is phenomenal!  I absolutely love it, and was totally psyched that my art made it into the envelope art section (two, even!) =D

Awesome!  I can't wait for this game.  I loved his old Lucasarts games, and the eshop desperately needs some new content.

So excited for this game! I preordered the special edition as soon as it was announced!

TalkBack / Re: Nintendo Power Set to Stop Publication
« on: August 21, 2012, 11:28:43 PM »
I am beyond heartbroken.  I've been depressed all day.  Nothing has excited me in the afternoon so much as finding a new Nintendo Power in the mailbox.  And that's been happening since I was 4 years old in 1988.  And I have waited for it every month with the same joy and glee I had back then.  I won't even read previews of the articles or screenshots online, as I want to experience them for the first time in the magazine.  I hope it can be saved, or Nintendo is taking it back over as publisher.  I really, really do.  Isn't there something we can do?  join with Operation Rainfall?  Have a subscription drive? Write letters? Send art and stories?  I just...want to do..something. It's like a parent told me they're moving away, and never coming back. = (  For now, I'm going to do a memorial painting, and send it in to them with a letter, and pray that I finally get one of my letters/art printed in the magazine I've loved so much.

I'm happy to see Reznor back, but these 2 games HAVE to gave the Koopa Kids back! Bring on Wart, too - a good way to differentiate two closely released Mario games.

Hey just to be clear, is this due tonight at midnight or tomorrow at midnight? I'm rushing to get mine done, but having two jobs gets in the way.

« on: April 27, 2012, 11:27:56 AM »
I know for a fact that you can get streetpasses from floors above you.  I get streetpasses from a little girl that only stays with her dad every other weekend in our apartment building.  I also wish they had done an experiment with one person sitting, and one person running past, instead of just both running.  And maybe a subway's windows would allow streetpass if it were going slow enough, unlike the elevator experiment, where it's enclosed.

While I squealed in joy while watching this get announced during Nintendo Direct, I was definitely one of the people hoping for a new art style.  I mean, look at Mario 1,2,3, World, and World 2.  Look at how vastly unique each one of those games look.  Now look at New Super Mario 1, Wii, and 2.  Nearly identical.  That's my only disappointment.  Raccoon tail and flying make me truly happy; finally!  Bowser's children better be in this, too, that was my absolute favorite part of Mario Bros. Wii!

That's a fairly interesting idea to get it here.  I do hope that Nintendo is open to other publishers here, and not just XSeed, so this has more of a chance of succeeding.  Of course ideally I'd rather just have that Nintendo logo on the bottom right on the box showing it's published by Nintendo.  Will The Last Story still have that, along with XSeed's logo? Or will it supercede the Nintendo logo?  As a huge first party game collector, I actually care about this, haha.

If that rumor from GoNintendo about Nintendo licensing characters from Square turns out to be Geno and Mallow for Smash Bros, revealed at E3, I will suffer the happiest heart attack possible for a human to experience.

Darn, I just saw this today.  I'd like to do it next week if it's happening again. My 3DS code is 2836-0087-6663.  Name is Bry * . Hi Neal, I sat behind you at the RFN panel, and asked the question about Mega Man Legends 3, canceled 3DS games, and western 3DS support.  I streetpassed you a few times too (as well as the whole RFN crew I believe.)

Oh man, I really hope this gets over here to America.  I'm probably in the minority in Operation Rainfall that wanted this game more than the other 2.  Just got Xenobalde on Friday though (!!), but didn't get to play til yesterday due to the craziness of PAX and Easter and all that.  Please Nintendo/XSeed, let this be your summer Wii game!

I was sad to read the quote yesterday that Suda51 doesn't have a Wii U dev kit yet.  When he said he would make No More Heroes 3 for the next nintendo console, I was so excited.  Hopefully he gets on it after Lollipop Chainsaw (or a new Killer7, dear god a new Killer7 please.)  I was lucky enough to meet him Saturday at PAX East!  He was just standing around and I got to talk to him for a bit.  He didn't understand all of it (one of his translators came over halfway through our conversation), but was impressed when I told him I made it all the way through Flower, Sun, and Rain on DS.  He had a Whaaaaa?? expression on his face, haha.  I asked him to make Killer7 2, and tried to get him to say Coyote Smith's quote "You're F*cked!" (Can we swear on here?) but he was just like "Yup, yup, Killer7, thanks for being a fan!"  I got a picture with him, too - (I've never met a game developer before and was kind of starstruck, haha.)

Yeah, I'm not too hot on the pay for a Virtual Console subscription idea either.  I love choosing what games I want and always having them, regardless of if my router is working correctly that day.  And I always feel angry when months go by and I haven't used netflix - though I love the service, I hate having paid for time when I never even used it.  In fact I'm going to cancel it right now, as it hasn't been used since Christmas break.  I can always resubscribe if I want it again.

As for the achievements/trophies stuff, I never usually care much about them.  With a huge backlog, I just want to play through a game and experience it and it's story.  I get frustrated with my boyfriend when he'll play Xbox games he's long been done with just to get these achievements.  Especially the asinine ones! Well, I do suppose Kid Icarus 3 has made me actually pursue the achievements more than I thought I ever would, as you actually get in game rewards for them, rather than some number on your profile.  The idea of having achievements on Wii U where you get hats/ Metroid helmet/ armor / clothes / etc. as rewards is somewhat cool to me though.  55 days to E3!

Hello all, new to these forums. Figured I'd jump in and just say how insatiably excited I am for this E3, in a way I have never, ever been excited for an E3 before.  The total blackout of info actually works for me, as it makes me dream more and more about the amazing games that will be revealed, and for the games we already know about.  I really honestly think this could be the best Nintendo E3 ever, and I've been watching them for many, many years.  If they show both Smash Bros. games, I just may die.  How can they possibly fit everything into their conference? Maybe we'll get an extra long one this year.

I was positively giddy to see a picture of me waiting in line on here, haha.  It was really neat meeting you guys and getting to put a face to the voices I listen to every week.
