you do realize that it is the same trailer right?

I posted the Youtube link, because IGN was loading a lil slow from all the bombardment due to E3

Trailer looks great! Graphics kinda ugly though, but theres allot of energy in the trailer, and all the flying around stuff has me most interested. Finally a real home console game form square!

Still does nothing for me. On the bright side, there's a higher chance of it being more game than movie than Final Fantasy XIII.

Man, no wonder the game took forever to make. It looks like an actual... well... SE style epic. Imagine that, no shortcuts or spin-offy things... just an actual all-out SE game!

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.

A Final Fantasy game that actually looks to be enjoyable?  Shocking, really.  I am still wondering if Square-Enix is giving the game a budget worthy of the market leader, but that is perhaps asking for too much.

Is it wrong that I completely love the music used for that website itself (which seems to be a trance remix of the longstanding Final Fantasy "Crystals" theme) but find the music completely blah in the videos themselves?  I really don't know about this game, as I watch those videos and just find...nothing to tempt me to actually purchase the game.  It certainly looks like Square might be putting the suitable effort into making a Final Fantasy game worthy of its name for the Wii, but the feel is just off somehow.

Not enough Tetsuya Nomura angst to heighten your hunger for this game?

No, I can do without that.  I'm a big fan of Skies of Arcadia, after all.  It's just that there's just something about how the game looks like it plays that's a turn-off for me, like it's a poor man's Kingdom Hearts.  A lot of flinging giant orbs and/or enemies around.

There's a lengthy interview about the game on the Nintendo channel in Europe, sounds more like a "poor man's" Monster Hunter to me.

A thousand years have passed since the events of the original FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES. The destruction of the Yuke Crystal during the Great War had at once brought the victorious Lilty Tribe prosperity, the defeated Yuke Tribe apparent annihilation, and the world a new age of science and reason. In this new era exists a rare breed of powerful beings called "crystal bearers," whose seemingly magical abilities have led them to be feared and scorned by the public. The young mercenary Layle is one such crystal bearer, who has been hired to escort the new passenger airship Alexis, the pinnacle of Lilty technology and a symbol of their current dominance. However, when the Alexis is suddenly besieged by a horde of monsters, Layle comes face-to-face with an adversary thought to have vanished from the pages of history, on a quest that may threaten the future of the world...
