Ok, so I got the Rocketfish screen protectors because they were the ones that Best Buy had next to the DSi's.

They are trash.

i should have thought better when I opened them and there were no directions. not that screen protection application is a terribly complicated matter, but it is a detail i would expect with a good product.

they have two stickers on them, one to help pull off the backing, and the other, which sits on the front of the protector, to help you move it around. so i get the first one on and down and go to pull that sticker off.

oh parts of it came off just fine. but the goo that lives under a sticker, not that. i now have this area on both screans convered in that good that i've been spending the better part of an hour trying to get off.

if i wasn't going on a trip first thing in the morning i'd rip them off and get a good set.

trash, i say. trash.

just ran out to best buy and got mine, still had a few there. glad they had the black, was doing the whole "so if they only have the blue am i getting one" debate all the way there.

forgot the screen protectors, will get those soon. considering i am jumping from my phat to this, it is nice. though i still have the phat for FF4-5-6 and emerald.

and you never know when you'll NEED two ds's.

this is offered on the wii for download as well...

so is it worth it to get the DS version? or should I try the original first? (assuming portability is not a concern)

i suspect that it was more of an issue of the game's sounds. how do you only transmit when i am screaming profanities, rather than every time a grenade goes off

so games trailers has it with a 9+ rating, while the one IGN dude gave it a 7. the only thing that makes me really hesitate is the IGN guy mentioned there was slow down.

really?

they came out with that headset thingy for the DS, so it isn't too far fetched...

well except they did wii-speak, so...

the gb micro is a fantastic piece of hardware. everytime i take mine out i get someone asking me what it is and an occasional disappointment in not being able to get it anymore.

i guess the equivalent would have to be a cell phone sized ds... not likely though.

i am looking forward to the DSi, mostly for the download part.

i was under the impression that you could play the game and it didn't matter if you had a wii or a ds

Hmmm, another site gave completely different reviews for these games.... so I guess some where in between lies the truth.

how are different reviews "lies" and "truth"? they are opinions. you just decide which reviewer you are more aligned with and go from there.

or, don't believe any of them and just get the games yourself.

there are no 'lies' in not liking something.

lol, thanks, i guessed that... HOW do i throw the grende? i've gotten good at standing around with it in my hands.

didn't get to play much, so still stuck on that second level.

115
i got this too. the tower defense level is killing me, but the other two were fun. still working on some of the weapons.

like, is that thing a grenade? if so, what do I do with it?

and what is the whip for?

116
just to add, moon is worth it, the game is very solid... minus that one kinda big bug. stupid parking spots, i put the damn hazards on, i swear i was just running in and out...

ok, i'll say it.

give me quake one and two for the wii. hell, don't even up the graphics, just make them online and compatible with PC's.

i'd pay $50, day one. you'd have to push me out of line and even then i'd smack your bratty nine year old around and say things like "you weren't even ALIVE when i kicked the crap of of this game"

so there.

zomg, the second boss is kicking my a$$.

still dig the game though.

i cannot stand the dual thumb control of consul first person games. yes, i got ok with it after years of metriod and starwars battle front, but the fact is that i've played too much with a mouse. i can be more precise and more efficent with the mouse.

so when i saw the wii control scheme way back when all i thought was FPS on nintendo all over again. naturally i have been dissappointed with the turn-out (see, i forgot FPS players prefer graphixxx over, you know, playing the game, silly me) but still i have my fingers crossed.

somewhere in my posts you'll find me commenting on this before it was announced, yes, yes and yes, i am getting these games. mp1 and mp2 were fun games, but with the mp3 controls alone they will be worth getting any playing again. yes, i realize that means i will have paid $80+ for each game, but i am ok with that.

hell, there were people who paid more than that for halo2. and well, it sucked.

ok, i've played a bit of this game and here are some impressions.

first the game looks great. the graphics and animations are all very well done.

the game has the feeling of the first metroid prime. in fact, i find myself shooting doors to open them. (in moon, there is an 'open door' button on the touch screen).

The game starts off with you and your crew landing on the moon. they have found a hatch with markings that match the rosewell landing craft. your group is there to investigate. while you are getting a de-brief from your general, bad stuff happens, and well, you are on your own.

because who would have it any way?

you cannot jump, duck, swing on vines, or any of those kinds of things. you do get an RC unit with camera and EMP gun. this is used to travel where you cannot, usually to open some door.

there are save spots similar to metroid. the map is pretty good in this one as well.

the voice acting is good, but i noticed the actual sound of the voices was quiet, even all the way up.

it is rated T. after demetium, i was assuming it was M, dunno if that means anything either way, but since i was rambling, i thought i'd add it in.

ok, i am back to playing. all in all, good game, definately NOT a 6, more like a 7.5 or 8 (of you take ocarina of time as a perfect 10)

this is a day one purchase for me. dementium was a great game (and i recommend it for anyone who doesn't have it) and the Moon looks even better.
