You might be right, but why wouldn't they tell us, at least in a press release if they don't want to make a big deal out of it. Instead they've done the opposite and assured us that it's still coming and it's on schedule (goo look at the coverage from E3 2014 when they said Codenamd:S.T.E.A.M. hasn't hurt the dev cycle of this crossover and it's still on schedule

I own the 2011 version on 3DS.
I've probably only put 1 hour into it.
Maybe I should pull it back out and give it another try
Oh wait, I'm playing Fire Emblem:Awakening, Kirby Triple Deluxe, Weapon Shop de Omasse, Bugs vs Tanks, Star Fox 64 3D, Ocarina of Time 3D, Rhythm Heaven, Advance Wars Days of Ruin and Metroid II
Nope I don't think I'll find time for it.

Dude this will be much more fun than trying to make Brawl work online. I've been trying to
justify buying Days of Ruin for awhile now. If this game wins I'll finally have my justification.
