It did finish perfectly, you're correct, but I don't care I'm so stoked for this game.

I'm also amazed they are this far along, especially considering they are helping with Breath of the Wild.

When I first recognized it was a Fire Emblem game my Fire Emblem fatigue set in (I played Awakening twice and then Fates Birthright and Fates Conquest)...

Then I recognized what the title implies and things instantly changed (I really enjoyed Hyrule Warriors)

Will you guys be filling us in on how to pre-order it?
I tried asking today Best Buy told me they won't be doing pre-orders and GameStop told me their system shows 2 SKUs, but no prices or details yet so until they get those I can't pre-order it.

Here's a rumor with very little credence

I tried to learn about pre-order options today. I went Best Buy and asked. The manager told me that he didn't think Best Buy will be doing Switch Pre-orders

Next GameStop the manager there told me his computer system shows 3 SKUs, but no prices or details yet. He said if I'm there first thing tomorrow morning I'll be able to pre-order it.

Rayman Legends is on Sale!!!
That is a great game. If you don't have it yet, it'll carry you over till you get a switch

That's cool. I own it on Wii U, but that might convince me to buy 1 or 2 of the modes on Switch

Important question:
I really appreciate the Nintendo News Report (Pre-event) and the RFN (Post-event), but I have 1 wimpy question.
My kids (ages 3, 5 & 7) will be up late that night to watch the Event. I know the RFN post-event will not be kid appropriate (but that's ok because they'll have to go to bed the second it's over). What I'm wondering is will the Nintendo News Report be kid appropriate (mostly language wise). If yes I'd love to turn it on for the whole family (maybe on the side while we play Mario Party/Kart/3D World) if not then maybe I'll just wait till they go to bed and then catch RFN.
Thanks

James,
I have some good news for you.
I can’t speak for iPhone as I’ve never had one, but on Android you can absolutely listen to music or a podcast while playing Pokemon Go, I do it all the time. Get your music or podcast player going first so that when you touch the top of the screen and pull down you can the music controls in the menu. Then launch Pokemon Go. Yes it will cut your music/podcast, but you immediately pull that down and hit play. It will cut the Pokemon Go Music and bring back whatever you were listening to.

The other way to do it is use that app like the one I use for podcasts that automatically starts back up where you left off when you turn on a Bluetooth headset. I use Podcast Addict for listening to all of my podcasts (including RFN) and I set the option to do this so if I wasn’t already listening to something when I open Pokemon Go and I decide to listen to my podcasts I just power on my Bluetooth set and the Pokemon Go music cuts and on comes RFN (or The Herd or Planet Money or Radio Lab whatever I’ve got set to play next).

Broodwars...luckily you were wrong and we're getting it tomorrow here in North America

I wish it had come sooner. I was going to buy it for my kids for Christmas.

I still might buy it for them. My wife has some strong nostalgia tied to this game...I don't though.

I don't understand the hate for Star Fox Zero. I've really enjoyed it, and I've had several people come over and want to try it and about 1 in 10 hates it.

I've almost bought Federation Force several times, but never quite pulled the trigger. I'd have to buy 2 copies because I'd want to play with my wife so the money is part of why I still haven't done it.
I think we'd enjoy it, but where it was designed for 4 player how fun is it with just 2?

Thank you NWR!!! I just registered for the notice. I'm not one to play many games on my phone, but maybe this will be the beginning of a new age for me which, depending on the price of the Switch and how much longer they support 3DS, may become necessary.

Regarding Twilight Princess HD (Which I bought my son for Christmas) what does this last part mean?
"most underrated (except by doctors) Zelda game in history."
I don't understand the "except by doctors" Does Dr. Metts hate this game?

« on: December 13, 2016, 10:29:09 AM »
Are you guys kidding? I should be hearing the sounds of rejoicing not complaining. We will get Yooka Laylee on the Nintendo Switch!!!!! And if you backed it and asked for a Wii U version they'll trade your code to a Switch code.

42
That was exciting.
Man I wish I was Jimmy Fallon.

43
The video is boring, but I'm sure the parks will be awesome

44
I've never played either of those games. I'll have to look into them.

TalkBack / Re: Nintendo To Sell US$99 New 3DS This Holiday
« on: November 07, 2016, 12:28:37 PM »
That's an awesome deal. I was considering getting my kids a 2DS for Christmas, but it's hard to argue against spending an extra $20 to get the better console especially since the 2 games the 2DS comes with Yo-Kia Watch and Mario Kart 7 we already have.

Has anyone here played NBA 2K AND NBA Live enough to know which of the 2 was shown? Since Take Two and EA are both on the list it could have been either. I LOVED NBA 2K13 on my Wii U so I will get excited if we're getting NBA 2K17

Can you remind us how much you've raised in previous years?

48
I can confirm that EVERYONE was able to buy Wind Waker HD early because I own a launch Wii U (not the special edition Zelda one) and I bought the game 2 weeks early. It was great! I was hoping that all games would do that, but obviously that didn't happen. I had been wondering why, but I didn't realize that retailers were upset about it. Do you know that they were, or are you just assuming that they were?

I really enjoyed playing Skyward Sword. In fact, I'm considering selling my disc and buying it digitally now.
