OH lawdy lawdy, Nintendo's done a shitty job at this E3, and that's even considering how crappy this expo's been so far.

Miyamoto was there for one game. Reggie took too much time on stage. Iwata was absent. The conference was nothing but casual 1st-party games, 3rd-party ports, and Mario.

No hype, no bomb dropping, no megatons.

At least Iwata did a good job on his "Nintendo Direct" videos. I learned more watching those than I did watching the press conference.

Yeah, in my opinion he didn't kick any ass and the name taking was cut to a minimal.  Not to mention there was no bombs.  Not even a reset bomb  :-[

Mass Effect 3 is the bomb according to Reggie.  . . . .

Though seriously I have a feeling that it's going to be more than a direct port of ME 3

I'm probably wrong though.

ME3 is the bomb according to people who've been playing already. And it won't be a direct port, it'll have that new ending people were bitching for.
TVman is dead. I killed him and took his posts.

The new ending is available to everyone already.  At least that is how I understand it.

The ending DLC hasn't been released yet, but it will be available for free supposedly sometime later this summer for all the previous versions of the game.

I kinda wish Kytime's prediction of the name changing to "Super Wii" had come true. I'm not a fan of the "Wii" name period, but at least "Super Wii" would clearly indicate its a new and better product to the current system. "Wii U" is not only stupid, but it's confusing. Uninformed consumers will just assume the "Wii U" refers to the tablet controller, and the Wii U system (which looks identical to the Wii) is just a Wii revision that tacks on HD support.

A few days ago I was in a Gamestop when a mother and son walked into the store. They asked the lady working for Gamestop if they had Diablo 3. The Gamestop lady asked what kind of computer they had at home. The lady said, and I quote, "We have a Windows 98 that we bought in 1996 (or 1998, I can't remmeber)." The Gamestop Lady responded by telling the mother that there was no way that a computer that old could run any of the PC games that were on their shelves. Later, the mother said, "How about that Wii U? It is going to kick ass. So much better than the Wii right now." This gives me hope that the Wii U will be successful.

Wii = Clark Kent and Super Wii = Super Man.

Ha that's classic! It's funny that the lady didn't know that about her computer, but she knows about the Wii U.

Ha that's classic! And if they bought their computer in 1996, then it would be running Windows 95, not 98.

Unless they, you know... upgraded the OS. Because apparently you can do that on computers these days.

The OS is one thing, but you're still sitting on a 14 year old system. The CPU can't be all that great.

Wii = Clark Kent and Super Wii = Super Man.

I dunno. After reading All Star Superman, I kind of have a new found appreciation for Clark Kent. It's more than just putting on glasses and a suit.
