Given that amiibo is the only reason Nintendo turned a profit recently. I'd say get ready for a whole bunch more amiibo ****

Still feel this game is not big enough to be a $60 retail game. I think it would have been better as a $20 online download game. Only if the game had a strong offline single player campaign could you justify $60. I see this game dropping to $40 within 2 months

Can I just say how difficult it is for me to keep liking Nintendo. A beta test that's 3, 1 hour long sessions? But what I wanna complain about is their YouTube video they made of their treehouse people playing along. So their idea was, let's stick 4 people together and have them all just talk at once and not really talk about the game. What the hell? I was expecting to hear about the different controls and general talk about the game. Instead it was like 4 interns just yelling "OH" and "Ya" and just reading other players names on the screen. They were too dumb to know at the end of the hour the server was kicking people off and that's why people were leaving their lobby

Simple, it's basically a 3DS with a built in circle pad pro. Ya call it a "3DS Pro". How friggin hard is that Nintendo?

I never saw any news about flipnote studio 3D being released. Why would they do so a silent, under the radar release and only free to club Nintendo members? And why did I not see any news on NWR about its release?

Or you could just get off your lazy ass and go down to the store on release day and buy a physical copy

TalkBack / Re: The Baffling Launch Plans of New 3DS in America
« on: January 21, 2015, 01:29:44 AM »
This a/c adapter debate needs to be put to rest right now. It's very simple. Not including one is unacceptable. Period. Nothing is sold in the US that plugs into a wall or is recharged by plugging into a wall without the power cord that makes that happen. When you buy a new TV you don't use the old one you already have. When you buy a new Xbox you don't use the old one you already have. iPods, cell phones, clock radio, doesn't matter. The only thing I could think of was something that uses disposable batteries, and that's the obvious exception.

They can get away with it in England cause for awhile devices were sold with just a wire on them and people had to know how to wire a plug onto the devices the bought at stores. Now they have new laws that mean devices have to be sold with plugs already attached. So there's a little bit difference in culture and attitude. In the end it's still unacceptable for American consumers.

They must think people just throw their old game systems in a toy box and forget about them. Any old handheld I sell or pass down to someone else, and with it, the charger. This is just a lame excuse to make people spend $10 seperatly to buy the charger. The first 3DS came with a charging cradle, then the 3DS XL didn't, now it doesn't even have a charger. Can someone check and make sure it comes with a stylus.

I could almost see them not including the SD card and saying cut cost so consumers can choose the size memory card they want. That at least would make a little sense

TalkBack / Re: Hyrule Warriors DLC Costumes Now Available on Wii U eShop
« on: December 30, 2014, 06:04:32 AM »
You can't argue with the nickel and diming part. DLC should be a means to add value to the game and extend the life. Some stupid costumes that probably took an hour at most for some programmer somewhere is an insult to me. That would be like baskin robins charging you an extra 5 cents for the plastic spoon

So... what sort of time to penis are we looking at here? I'm thinking three seconds.

Why can't anyone ever create vagina themed stages?

If people re-create previous mario levels, aren't they just doing Nintendo's work for them?

TalkBack / Re: Amiibo Figures Have Limited Save Space
« on: November 12, 2014, 03:38:14 AM »
If only there was some type of game system they could connect to that had a large amount of built in flash memory...

Limited space? These things arn't storing your YouTube videos, it's just numerical data. Is it seriously that difficult or expensive to stick a 1 MB memory chip in these things?

TalkBack / Re: Amiibo Expanding to Cards and Cheaper Toys, Says Miyamoto
« on: November 10, 2014, 04:12:21 AM »
Whenever I see these things all I see is overpriced memory cards. Maybe I'm too old to for this to appeal to me but it seems like if you're gonna make a toy that connects to a video game system. That toy needs to be functional in some way. Thinking back to NES and other systems, the light gun for example had a function. Even the E-reader had a function by scanning a bunch of cards it loaded an NES game.

If nintendo wants to sell me on a toy that works with my game system, they need to sell me an actual toy. To me a figurine with a memory card in it doesn't count
