I had a dream about Wii last night...I haven't had a dream about an upcoming system since N64.  My anticipation level is high-high-high!!
That's my opinion, not yours.

I want a Wii dream too - unfortunately, I've only had 2 or 3 videogame related dreams ever..

Wii units and games are ready to roll off the line

My question.... why does the warehouse/facility need huge promo posters?!  (Maybe they're just being held there?)

The worst is anticipating something when you're high, cuz then you get all paranoid and well yeah...

I want one of those posters for my room.

Well, now there's 10 days remaining!

More precisely, some people may be able to secure them in less than that, so technically it'd be like 9 days and some hours.  Can you imagine?  Some of us have waited a couple years or so, and now it's down to single digits of days.  SINGLE DIGITS.

This wouldn't suck so bad if I wasn't as insanely bored right now...

That'll teach you to sell your copy of Contact!
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

I was insanely bored with Contact which is why I sold it, though.

I was afraid to buy Contact for that very reason.  It looked good, but it was an RPG.  I feared it would go the same way as Earthbound for me (getting bored and never finishing), so I didn't buy it.

The closer we get to the launch, the more people I see joining the boards.

The Wii is going to be huge, with that many people playing with it how can it not be?

So in 3 minuntes we will be 5 days 6 hours from the launch.

Intense Meteor Shower Expected November 18 @ 11:45 PM

I got that from NintendoWiiFanboy.com.  Apparently the Leonid meteors are excited about the Wii that they're gonna burn up with anticipation.  Or from friction in the atmosphere.

The expected time of peak activity is 11:45 p.m. EST on the night of Nov. 18. In US, the shower will only be visible on the east coast, in the eastern sky.

Looks like you New Yorkers will have something to watch during your midnight launch line-up.  Or if you're still camping out anyway.  150 Leonids streaking across the sky in an hour!  Whoa.  That could be intense.

Sweeeeeet, although standing there in the parking lot of Walmart isn't the ideal viewing area....with all the lights, I doubt anything will be visible =(

The coincidence is cool though =D

Meteor showers generally happen every year during the same rough window (it's over a few days to a week, the peak is probably on the 18th). It's possible that the Leonids were going on at the time of the GC launch, but it might not have been peak time.

At any rate, still keep an eye up there... even in a lit parking lot, you can still see the BIG ones (which can get crazy).

lol. I live on the outskirts of a small town now.  I use to leave in the historic district of a big town.  I could see the stars better in the big town.  Go figure.  I hope I can see these.
