Nintendo Gaming / Dead Pixel on my 3DS!

Today when I was on my break at work, I pulled out my 3DS to check my streetpasses. I noticed this very small black spec right smack in the middle of my screen. I said to myself, oh its just a little piece of dust and I'll just wipe it off. I atempt to wipe the spec off but it was still there. "Oh, well maybe it's under my screen protector", so I take that off and try and wipe it off again. "Oh no! a dead pixel!" This is going to bother me for the rest of my 3DS's life.... 
So I guess heres my question(s):
1) If I were to buy a new Three Dee Ess, what do I do about all the crap I have on my first one? Can I somehow get all those ambassador games and all the other games I bought on my system onto a new one?
2) I have a 16GB SD card in my system now and I would still obviously want to use that card in my new system.
3) Also, this would be a perfect time for a "re-design" for me so I dont have to get another "original" model... So what should I do? Suck it up and wait for a new redesign that could take up to 2 years to even be announced! or just get a new one?
