Does it support the Pro Controller yet?

If you look at the Bravely Default page on Amazon and look at the pictures and read the comments, it looks like Amazon incorrectly packaged ALL of the Bravely Default collector's edition sets: http://www.amazon.com/Bravely-Default-Collectors-Edition-Nintendo-3DS/dp/B00GV4V8YQ/ref=sr_sp-atf_title_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1392621991&sr=8-2&keywords=bravely+default

My Bravely Default CE was busted too. Amazon gave me a partial refund. Then I sold the art book, soundtrack and AR cards on ebay for $50. I came out ahead and I still have the game.

It wasn't just Jon's copy that had issues.

The graphical power debate is interesting. I think it's important to remember that the SNES came out two years after the Genesis and three years after the TG16.

Nintendo should buy M2 and put them in charge of the Virtual Console.

F-Zero GX is the best racing game I've ever played. I loved unlocking the AX tracks. I would recommend watching some speedruns of GX. There are some amazing players out there.

DLNA is awesome and the PS4 FAQ flat out saying that PS4 won't support it is a big deal.

The title of this episode should have been "So Many Analogies!" from the 3D World discussion.

Regarding Wii U Virtual Console:

NES games look washed out and stretched horizontally to me. SNES games look fine.

I have noticed control lag on Punch Out!! and Super Mario World.

The Pro Controller is great for NSMBU. I only wish the Pro ZR would work for the spin move like the Gamepad's ZR.

Nintendo doesn't believe in their 2013 lineup to have a press conference. That said, the kinds of games they have coming out are unlike anything PS4 and XB1 will have this fall. Most of them are focused on the general Wii audience. Pikmin 3, W101 and Mario 3D World look great to me. I have bought Nintendo systems for 5-10 exclusives per year. Wii U is giving me that.

I'd like to see the Gamepad given less focus. Just like 3D on 3DS, it should be secondary.

Weekend Confirmed is pretty far from great.

I would recommend buying a Pro Controller at a reputable place. There are knock-offs out there.

WWHD uses the touch screen for the wind waker controls. The songs looked really sped up in the video.

Also, I really like challenge of Spring Mario.

REmake, F-Zero GX, Double Dash and Viewtiful Joe are some of the best games of their generation.

You guys covered pretty much everything.

I just wonder what an HD Star Fox looks like. That kind of game doesn't really exist anymore.

It's a great controller, and it's $40 on Amazon.

It's been a few years since I listened to it, but I think this Retronauts Falcom podcast touches on Faxanadu.

I'm going to listen to it again this week. Falcom is very interesting to me.

I love the Turbo Duo version of Ys Books I & II. I got stuck at the giant Bat boss. I think I missed something along the way because I was doing basically no damage.

Faxanadu is a great game too, Pixelated Pixies. I compare Faxanadu to Dark Souls because of how grim and unrelenting it is. The music is amazing, which always helps.

So much for Crisis 3 not being on Wii U because it can't run on the system.

Yerli: "We did have Crysis 3 running on the Wii U. We were very close to launching it. But there was a lack of business support between Nintendo and EA on that. Since we as a company couldn’t launch on the Wii U ourselves — we don’t have a publishing license — Crysis 3 on Wii U had to die."
