Nintendo Gaming / RE: WW of OoT style graphics??
« on: August 01, 2003, 01:57:09 PM »
When I say realistic, I mean OoT style.  The only true realistic I've seen is SSBM.  When I say cartoon, I obviously refer to WW.  And I suppose you have a point.  It might just take a couple of seconds to get used to.

That's why it would be hard to go back to OoT graphics.  I'd love to see the hurricane spin in OoT.

Do you think the cube would be powerful enough to run the game if EVERYTHING was done like SSBM quality?  That would look awesome.  But if it looked that good, they would have to make the moves and actions and everything look more believable.  One thing with cartoon is that you can make extremely far-fecthed thing look believable.  Anyway, the cube probably wouldn't have the power to run a game of that quality.  (I'm just guessing by the way, so I beg your forgivness if I'M wrong)

There is a sign on Tingle Island that says something about a bigger wallet being north of here.  So it's likely that the fairy is north of tingle island.  Though i haven't seen it.

I havent found that one either.  There is a sign on tingle Island that says something about a bigger wallet north of here.  I'm assuming that the fairy is somewhere up there, but i only had a very quick look.

To my knowledge, the colour of the plug makes no difference what-so-ever.  The different colours are there to make it easier to put the right plug in the right place(colour-coded).  The cable is just a copper string.  All the important parts for the various RCA plugs(eg. sound, video, optional video etc,) is built into the TV and output device.  I've run audio through the yellow before and vise-versa.  (Hope I didn't confuse anyone)

You can probably do a lot more with cell shading (i think thats what
you're calling WW??)  than you can with OoT style.  For example, (this is just me by the way), I honestly can't see the hurricane spin looking very convincing in the OoT format.  You can make everything alot more make-beleive with the cartoon.

Whatever it is, I hope that it can play GC games and if nintendo are feeling realy generous, they could put an N64 cartridge slot in.

I'm just wondering what you thought the better style of graphics is for the next zelda game.  Would you prefer cartoon like WW or more realistic like OoT.  ALso, what are your general opinions?

What is camp hyrule?

Just a side point, are any of you Australian?

I haven't seen a nintendo ad for years.  I'd say the last ad I saw was for Poke'mon stadium 1.  But I've never ever seen any ad for the actual system, (except the game boy.)

Actually, Mace is a nintendo name to a degree.  Nintendo have used Mace Windu in the Clone Wars.  Still, I don't think that it would make it a full fledged nintendo name though.  But nintendo have used it.

Just in case you don't know you have to complete the other 2 tasks to get the ability for the colour pictobox.

Usually the cyclone god will appear if you get to close to any cyclone.

If you talk to him he'll ask if the Rito postman has been yet.

That would be very interesting to try.  I still would like the option of the traditional mario kart though
