If you missed them last year, you can get a physical copy soon.

Two of last December's indie hits will soon get disc releases on Wii U.

Nintendo of Europe and Nintendo of Australia announced this morning that the "Selects" branding would be extended to eShop titles, with SteamWorld Heist and FAST Racing NEO being the first games to benefit. Both games will release on disc on 30 September in Europe and 1 October in Australia, with SteamWorld Heist launching on the eShop the same day. Both discs will also include downloadable expansions The Outsider and the NEO Future Pack.

Rising Star Games will serve as the distributor for the games in North America. They previously released BIT.TRIP compilations on Wii and 3DS.

I'm in for the SteamWorld disc.
Less sure about FAST as I'm not a racing fan...

Looks like there will be quite a few "download only" titles jumping to physical releases by the time Wii U lifespan is over.  It would have been awesome to get a physical copy of Toki Tori 2, or maybe a package of the games published by Curve... but the list of indie titles with big releases is already impressive.

Both of these devs deserve all the money they can get. I'll get both of these for sure.

This is a great thing, I hope we can see more indies getting a full retail treatment across all platforms.

Darn, for some reason when I saw SteamWorld Dig and SteamWorld Heist as part of this I thought it would be on the 3DS. It's nice to see Nintendo expand its Selects line though and I think I'll finally pick up FAST Racing NEO.

Do we know who's publishing? I would assume Nintendo but I can't find any confirmation.

They'll be published by their current devs (Shin'en / Image & Form) with Nintendo handling the distribution end.

I like the idea of buying a physical version of Fast, but Its going to be $50 in Australia. I would pay $30 at most.

Nice. I haven't bought Heist, I was unsure about it, but I might check this out since it's gotten a lot of praise.
