Dinosaurs, spooky cameras and gho... phan... Yo-Kai. I thought Hallowe'en was in October?Download (Time: 2:55:45)
Here's the scariest part about this episode: It's nearly an hour before we live up to our name. In
New Business, Stephen begins the Nintendo parade with
The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes - a tight little game that really believes in the rule of 3. Donald picks up the baton with
Yoshi's Woolly World, which might have displaced dancing atop his GOTY list, then the musical SRPG
Stella Glow (if you know where the CEO of Imageepoch is, we'd like to hear it) and talks Level 5 Game with
Yo-Kai Watch (demo) impressions. The spoooooooky parade continues as Austen hits
Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, before attending a somewhat dead
Corpse Party and hitting three Platinum trophies along the way.
For
Whatcha Watchin', Stephen opens the bidding at
Parasyte, which really got under his skin. Donald attempts to make a philosopher's stone with his own viewing of
Fullmetal Alchemist (the good one), before snagging a few episodes of
Yo-Kai Watch the TV show - which is more Teen Titans Go than Pokemon. Austen realizes that anime was a mistake, so he catches up on a couple of pilots in
Ash v Evil Dead and
Supergirl.
The news round hits Paris Games Week (with enough VR to choke a horse), Nintendo's financials and mobile ambitions, and Microsoft wimping out on reporting Xbox numbers. Again. In the
Mushrooms, it's morning again in Canada, but Stephen can't see it because of various updates.
Be sure to save Saturday, December 5 on your calendar as we're going to be doing it live one more time (for the kids, y'know). And this year we might be going later than ever. In the meantime, drop us a line below, email or tweet us if there's something you want us to cover on the show!
