I sort of felt that way talking to some people about Journey and similar games. I would run into people that just play FPSs and try to describe these pacifist games and they did not seem to get it.
I also think The Witness is tough to talk about without spoiling it so I just tell people to play it because it is amazing.

I bought a bunch of games from the 3DS eShop because of the announcement of its impending closure. Most of these I have not played but they looked interesting and/or were recommended here in the forums:

• SpeedX 3D Hyper Edition cheap, looked cool
• Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D deep discount
• 3D Streets of Rage 2 great 3D
• 3D Gunstar Heroes great 3D
• Liberation Maiden recommended here
• Fun! Fun! Minigolf Touch! developed by Shin'en
• Attack of the Friday Monsters! recommended here
• Pirate Pop Plus cross-buy with Wii U (new 3DS only)
• Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai developed by Shin'en

This took care of about half of my wish list. Still trying to decide on the rest.

One is for the cable to charge the Switch Pro Controller. The other if for a cable to charge the Wii U Pro Controller. Occassionally I use the Gamecube controller adapter but that is not left connected.

Some great pics BShy. I would second Trauma Team and Red Steel.
Looking at my Wii collection, so many have already been ported.
Kirby's Return to Dream Land would look luscious in HD.
Epic Mickey, The Simpsons Game, and Harvey Birdman all hold up well IMO but would have licensing issues to deal with.
Dead Space: Extraction would great but with some light gun peripheral that the joy con slide into.
Finally, requiring the least amount of work needed would be Rhythm Heaven Fever and maybe playing it in handheld I could finally get the last gold medal

I just realized I have Star Wars pinball. I did not buy it outright. I think I got it from a humble bundle or something similar. It is made by Zen so it is high quality and the 3D looks great. They even made stereoscopic 3D tables for PS3 and PS4, which look great on a 3D TV. Anyway, if you like pinball simulators and Star Wars this is worth getting.

Capcom is having a sale in the 3DS eShop right now. I think all of the games are also available on cart but the discounts are so deep that the digital version might be the way to go. I picked up RE: Mercenaries 3D for $5.
There is also a Cooking Mama game for about $5. That is not published by Capcom of course, but I figured I would mention it here.

Actually maxing out the Luck stat will make the game easier.  The Luck stat affects your critical hit rate, which can cause some pretty massive damage when using powerful later game weapons.  It also effects how many time you can hit enemies when you use attacks that say will hit an enemy a certain amount of times.  So if you use an attack that says will hit 2-4 times, if your Luck is high your more likely to get all 4 hits in, and some could be critical hits as well.  So if you use attack buffing spells to the max, and your character has a multi hit weapon, with a high luck stat, you can destroy most enemies and bosses pretty quick.

Interesting. It has been pretty easy, but I have also been doing all the side quests and I have not had to grind at all.

What does luck do in SMT5?

The description says "increases probability of chance-based results being in your favor during battle".
I am guessing that refers to things like whether an attack is dodged or not.
That was sort of the reason I chose luck, it seemed like the least useful attribute so I thought it would make the game more challenging.

Good game everyone. I thought I played well, even serving up Xander for the town, but alas once people start getting suspicious of you there is not much you can tell them to prove your innocence. Congrats to Stratos and the Pikmin mafia for the win and thanks to Khushrenada for hosting.

I am playing through Shin Megami Tensei V right now and decided to put all my spendable points into the Luck category. I just reached 100 in that category so I switched to Agility.

This made me think, how do others usually upgrade their character?

In action/adventure games I usually go for stealth, or whatever is closest to that. I don't play a lot of RPGs so I usually try something different with each one. In Fallout 4 I put most of my points into Intelligence and Perception.

So, how do you level up?

This is a tough one, so I had to do a little research into the games I played on Switch. Here are the best of lists:

• 2017: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, ARMS, Stardew Valley
• 2018: Mega Man 11, Runner 3, Overcooked 2, Celeste, Kirby Star Allies
• 2019: Astral Chain, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, Yoshi's Crafted World
• 2020: Super Mario Party, Shantae and the Seven Sirens, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, Super Mario All-Stars
• 2021: No More Heroes III, Metroid Dread, Mario Golf: Super Rush, The Mummy Demastered, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

I think 2019 might have been the strongest year for me since picking the top five was so tough. There were at least five other games that were 9 or 10 out of 10 for me. 2017 is a close second but with multiplayer games like ARMs and Splatoon, I don't really associate them with that year. I think 2018 is third because of the great time I had with Mega Man 11, After that is 2021 mostly carried by NMH3 and Metroid. Finally in last place is 2020 which still wasn't bad.

Bungle, may I ask you who you think the godfather is?

If I had to guess it would be Stratos, but I think that is just based on Perm and Order's suspicions. Since they were right the past two days, it stands to reason they are right again. I suppose it could be one of them ... or you ...I really don't know.

I thought the game was cool, but a bit too difficult I never finished it.

I picked it up super cheap as well. I do not remember it being difficult. The story is pretty crazy and worth seeing through to the end.

Excuse me if I am incredulous after reading that I am a suspect. I would be interested to hear what MASB and Wah have to say about all of this. Yes, people in the Xander vote could have been mafia tossing one of their own under the bus just to be trusted, but couldn't the same thing be true of Order leading the vote on ShyGuy? I will sit this one out, but promise to follow this alliance should MASB be a Pikmin.

Okay, I went back through my Best of the WiiU eShop lists and added the final games to my wish list. I should be able to get everything I want for about $100. Now I need to go though the Best of the 3DS eShop lists...
