I went with Pandora's Tower.  I own it, and this would be an excuse to end my laziness and actually play it

People would enjoy the series more if they realized that the game is a marathon, not a sprint.

I wonder if NA gets them this week.   I suppose we won't have to wait long to find out.

Excuse my ignorance, but is this a 3DS or Wii U game?

It's not needed unless you're a lefty like me who wants to play Kid Icarus as comfortably as possible.  Try using the stylus with your left hand and movement with the face buttons.  Actually, don't do that..it doesn't work well! RE: Revelations, MH3U, and MGS3 just work better with dual sticks.  Its a comfort thing, plain and simple.  The XL frankenstick will be mine when MH4 comes out.

I appreciate the responses, pokepal148 and Agent Spectre, but this game/series just isn't for me.  I definitely gave the demo a fair shot on both the 3DS and Wii U.

Is there no indication of how well you're doing?  No enemy health bar?   Also, is there no way to target the enemy?  Like the player in the video, I swung at air a lot of the time.  I felt that I was fighting the camera as much as I was fighting the enemy.

Does nintendo really think Yoshi will actually sell well?  They're also bringing it over to Wii U in a few months.  There are a ton of NES games that would do much better sales-wise.  I will never understand their reasoning behind this.

I got lucky and found what I think was the last retail copy left in my city.  It was out of stock EVERYWHERE!   Making the switch to digital will come eventually, but not today!!

"Enhances user experience"

I wish Nintendo would go into a little bit more detail with their descriptions.  It's sort of insulting to me.

I'll be happy if the update speeds up menu navigation and fixes the hard locking

That's a really low CPU clock speed.  I assume that the more modern GPU will be able to handle some of the tasks normally handled by the CPU.  Lets hope so, at least.

It's Miiverse integration (horrible net code) in Nintendo Land that is causing the issue.   Setting the game and system to English only will reduce your chances of getting the hard lock (less Miis), but disabling the internet from the console altogether will completely fix the issue.  Of course, you lose all online functionality if you choose the latter.   Hoping for a patch soon.

I played the first Trine on PC and loved it.  But this game, what little i've played of it so far, has been even more enjoyable.  Creating boxes and slinging enemies by drawing/dragging on the touch screen feels so good.  The graphics and music are wonderful, and the off screen play is such an awesome feature- the game looks great on the gamepad alone.

Brandogg, the option to add you is greyed out.  You might need to enable friend requesting outside of miiverse.. Home button > Friends List

Btw it took me FOREVER to figure this out.

TalkBack / Re: Wii to Wii U System Transfer Process Detailed
« on: November 07, 2012, 06:37:04 PM »
Even though Nintendo confirmed this months ago?

I remember reading Andrew's article on 9/13, the day of that big Nintendo Direct, and the article stated that the transfer process would be available at launch :
http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/31664

However, Andy's article just 10 hours later stated that they spoke to Nintendo, and Nintendo had not confirmed that the transfer process would be there at launch.
http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/31715

So, I just  ran with that last bit of news since Andy's article came, well, last..  I don't think a word has been spoken about the transfer process since that day...
