REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 18, 2006--Brazil, France, England or the USA... who has the most die-hard soccer fans? Representing 21 different countries, Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:ERTS) today rang in the sound of the soccer season by revealing the 40 songs that will be featured in FIFA 07. Launching in over 15 languages and 40 countries worldwide, FIFA 07 will bring the superstar athletes, stadiums and music of your every competitor into your hands.    


Every year, FIFA Soccer boasts an unparalleled mix of music gathered from around the globe, hand picked to represent each country and its passion for soccer. This year, the soundtrack is highlighted by songs from Bersuit Vergarabat (Argentina), caBas (Colombia), Carlos Jean (Spain), Epik High (Korea), Keane (UK), Muse (UK), Plastilina Mosh (Mexico), Shiny Toy Guns (USA), Seu Jorge (Brazil) and The Feeling (UK).

This year, you have the power to shape your club's destiny in the EA SPORTS™ Interactive Leagues, a new online mode that enables you to pit your club against supporters of your real-world opponents. The online interactive leagues feature the F.A. Premier League, Bundesliga, French League and the Mexican 1st Division. Experience the future of online gaming as you play your games according to the real-world schedule. When they play, you play. Track your team's progress as the aggregate results determine your club's position in the league table. Now you actually take to the pitch for the glory of your club. FIFA 07, developed by EA Canada in Vancouver, B.C., is scheduled to ship on October 3, 2006 in North America and September 22, 2006 in Europe for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox® video game system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCube™, Nintendo DS™, and Game Boy® Advance, PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system, PC and mobile. Too many UK songs, not one Australian song? Pfft, everyone knows we are more impressive than England in football at the moment.

Code for the soccer itself is still hopeless.
