Title: Mighty Switch Force 2 Coming to Wii U in October

Wii U will become even mightier this October.

WayForward have announced that the Nintendo 3DS eShop game, Mighty Switch Force 2, will be coming to the Wii U sometime in October.

The game was rated for the Wii U by the European ratings board PEGI back in July, just after WayForward teased the existence of the port.

The game was originally released for the Nintendo 3DS eShop back in June.

I will definitely buy this game. Kind of wish the 3DS eShop games (not the digital versions of retail game) were available on Wii U also, as that would be my preferred system to play them on.

The announcement of the 2DS gives me hope that they'll consider that in the future.

3DS users would also point out they want WiiU VC games on their machines...like EarthBound and SuperMetroid...even Miiverese

Oh definitely. I wasn't trying to segregate 3DS gamers. I have a 3DS too haha.

This is why we need cross buy and play.

No they couldn't. Not unless they beat out what Sony's been doing for over a year now.

sure they could. they have the whole vc, and TONS of 3ds eshop games would work well on the WiiU. On ps3/vita it is only a few select titles, Nintendo could make it the majority. Tons of room here for them to stake a claim to being the leader on *something*
