Tonight's Episode of House was Pure-Awesome/10.

Seriously, I know there are some people who cannot stand this show.  I don't know why though...

I knew where is was going for certain parts, but I loves every second of it.
I figured it was 2 hours long from the start so that they could wrap up the entire opening storyline and get back to diagnostics, but they really managed a touching moment with the release of the voice.

Watched my first episode of Heroes tonight. What season are they on?

Yeah, as soon as they introduced the character who couldn't talk it was painfully obvious how that was going to end.

I would *love* to see Mayfield as a spin-off series.

It worked with NCIS for NCIS LA so it could happen. House could even make a pity appearance every now and then.... to check up on "Super Man"`& "Annoy-A-Lot".

I realize that I'm the last person in the world to discover this show, but Firefly: Blown-Away/10. I joined the Sci-Fi/Fantasy Club at my college, we had our first meeting tonight and we watched the first episode of it. I can't wait to see the rest of them and the movie.

Yeah...that show is awesome. I'm glad to see it back on the air.

Now if the Boondocks would return already for season 3, I'd be golden.

The Boondocks

This show is about two children (Huey and Riley, 10 and 8 respectively), and their Grand dad, Robert Freeman (yes it's a pun). It is one of the finest pieces of television I've seen in a long time. It's just so damn funny. It came out so long ago, but I still watch an episode at least once a week. While the second season was more for laughs, especially because it followed my favorite character, Riley, the first season makes a lot of good points about some diligent topics. This show is definitely geared towards the brothas, but I have many non-black friends think it's funny as hell; funny enough to buy the dvds. The dvds are even more hilarious because they are uncensored and this show does cuss alot.

It also has Charlie Murphy, Samuel L. Jackson, and even Katt Williams lending their voices for characters.

Anyway, can't wait for the third season which comes out this year sometime.

10/10

The Boondocks (the cartoon version) is horrible.  The first couple years of the comic strip were great.  When Caesar was introduced the strip jumped the shark.

I'm sorry, but it's true.  I was really psyched (although skeptical) when I heard they were making a cartoon.  The comic was smart.  It was funny.  It didn't always go for the obvious joke.  I can't say any of those things about the cartoon.  It was made for the lowest common denominator, which generally means those that appreciate the nuances lose out.

As a person that's read the comics after seeing the show, I can more or less say that it stays pretty faithful to it. I think you need to give it another shot.

May I suggest Season 1 - "The Passion of Ruckus"? It's definitely my favorite episode (though not by much), and I feel, out of all the episodes, this one is the most like the comic.

Venture Brothers season 1. I really enjoy this show, after seeing a few episodes on cartoon network I had to get the first season and enjoyed virtually every episode!
