TalkBack / Re: New Details on Story DLC for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

I really got into this game. I was hoping that Robbie and Purah would be added to the game! Dreams DO come true... So, if anyone's listening - my final wish is that the mystery character be Beedle.

Also - just in case anyone's wondering, NWR isn't the only site that feels this way about the game. Many reviewers are posting similar opinions.

Wow. I'm super-disappointed with this review. I was very much looking forward to this game. I love the Mario golf games and typically buy them. Now I wonder if I should.

To me the trailer look like an AND, not an INSTEAD OF. What I mean is it looked like the map of the original game AND floating islands in the sky to explore. There's a part of me that also thinks/(hopes?) we may be able to explore underground (based on some of the cinematics). I'm just excited about this. 100%. Not worried.

Did anyone else spit their beverage out when Miitopia was announced? I did NOT see that coming.

This is cool! Any chance you made checklists like this for other Pokemon games?

Justin, do you plan on doing more of the YouTube videos you used to do where you go through your collection? Those were awesome!

Well the castle at the end of the trailer looks like it's getting ready to rise so maybe it takes them to a different part of the world.

Maybe it's floating up to revisit themes from Skyward Sword.  ;)

Thanks for the reply! I appreciate it.

Sorry to bump this - but I was wondering if the other segments from the Telethon were posted anywhere. I really enjoy listening to them every year. Thanks!

From the video it looks like random encounters are back instead of being able to see the Pokemon in the environment like in Let's Go (I'm referring to the part where the player encountered a Pikachu in the tall grass).

Are the other segments posted anywhere? I assumed they would come in through the RFN feed like they always had.

Guillaume #2 -
Kellog will put amiibo in all their sugar crap. Kellog characters will appear in Nintendo games. Tony Tiger in Smash. Lucky Charms in Punch-Out! "Aaron Ryan never made sense to me."

That was hilarious. Gui - How about this - Kellogg will also remove all remaining Animal Crossing amiibo from store shelves and put them in select cereals as prizes that no one wants.

Such great news!

Does anyone know if the number of Pokemon you can keep is going to be increased? I believe Sun and Moon gave you up to 32 boxes.

Nintendo Gaming / Pokemon Alpha Sapphire trade request
« on: June 20, 2017, 11:19:40 AM »
Hello All

Would anyone be willing to trade with me in Alpha Sapphire? I'm trying to complete the the Pokedex and I'm only missing Mudkip (and the evolutions of Mudkip). I have other starters that I could trade for it. Would anyone be interested? Feel free to reply here or PM me! It would be much appreciated.

Dang it!  I was really hoping this would be as good as Kirby's Epic Yarn. Hope there's still time to cancel my preorder.

This is really funny.

Hey y'all,

Does anyone know if you can get the Amazon Prime discount for pre-ordering Sun or Moon digitally?  I went to pre-order Moon, but it looks like you can only get the Amazon pre-order discount on the physical copy.  Is this true?

If so - does anyone know of any deals for pre-ordering the digital version anywhere?  Thanks!

Bman - yeah, they'll make WiiU games playable on Switch, but not with backwards compatibility - if they do it they'll do it like ejamer said - re-releasing.  Think about it.  You could play Gamecube games on Wii, but how much money was Nintendo making off of that?  People weren't buying Gamecube games from Nintendo at that point.  They were either playing the ones they already had OR they were buying them used.

On top of the absence of a touch screen, I think it's also worth pointing out that we didn't see any sign of motion control.  This video definitely confirms they are reeling in their hardware back to basic functionality.  Yes, detachable controllers are inventive, but what we see in this video is a system that plays games with a controller - period.

If you pause the video when Luigi first checks his email you can see the first words of emails in his Inbox.  They're from Toad, Wario, Kirby, etc.  They're kind of funny.

"Finally, after years of searching - the resting site of John Lindemann's epic backlog was discovered.  Lindemann himself was found in the bowels of the estate, wrapping himself in cellophane and muttering the phrase 'C'mon Cranky, take it to the fridge.'  "
