Not during the Japanese presentation. Iwata usually announces games specifically for the Japanese market, since the video is produced in Japan, for Japanese gamers.

More Game Boy Color games will be announced for Japan's eShop along with a bunch of retail games for the sole purpose of rubbing salt in the wound of North American 3DS owners.

Should be exciting!
This is where I would write something witty or funny if I had any ideas.

So what's happening?  It started 30 minutes ago according to the time.

Edit: Err, 12 hours from now that is.  :Q ::) :P:

Well, that Nintendo Direct was a huge disappointment. Aside from the first screenshots of NSMB 2, news about the next 3DS update (folders and game patches), and new Pokemon 3DS apps, there wasn't much to get excited about.

I'm not sure what you were expecting, but there is never anything megaton shown during these things. But i'm happy for the Pokedex update and Mario 2.

Did anyone notice Iwata announced patches for MArio Kart 7? For those bastards who found the unintended short cuts? Hooray!

I was pretty happy with the Mario announcement while the 3DS update was icing on the cake. It's a worthwhile update (if a bit too obvious to have not been there from the get-go) but I made due without it.

NSMB2's art style is disappointing but it won't make the game less fun for me. However, the addition of the leaf powerup add so much more gameplay potential to the formula and stands to make the game more fun. I'm looking forward to seeing more of the game at E3.
