Wait wait wait. Is this confirmed or NOT?!?!? I must know, because online co-op play was EXACTLY what my brother and I were planning!

I thought all that was confirmed was "online co-op missions" or something like that. That could very well be something very different than the whole campaign. Think Pikmin 2 co-op – you have goals ("missions," if you will) to accomplish, and that's cool and all, but it's certainly NOT the single-player campaign.

I could very well be wrong, and I hope I am. But if I don't get my hopes up now, I won't be let down later.

EDIT: Crap, Ceric, how the heck did I miss that??? Congrats! By the way, you can't have Claire, that name's taken for my daughter, whenever she decides to come along. And Timothy for a boy, you can't have that one either.

I'm almost more excited about this game than Galaxy. /sacrilege

In fact, if they add voice chat (which I'm doubtful of) and online co-op through the campaign mode (also doubtful), I would buy this over Galaxy, and I am not even kidding. (I have no idea why, but I just can't get excited about that game )

Guess how many commercials I've seen for this game?

None!  It looks like Nintendo has that new marketing strategy down pat...

I was really excited about this game, then I watched the video in the other thread. If the game weren't coming out tomorrow I'd have regretted doing that. I can't wait til Tuesday when the game will actually be at the store damn lousy lying release dates

Kenology, the reviews are out. Well some of them. It's not a 10/10 game, but from the reviews, it'll definitely be something for fans of the first to enjoy. It is in no way a bad game.

NWR got two review copies of this game.  Karl and I are both playing it.  So far it's quite fun.  It happens to be the first Wii game I'm playing on my new 61 inch HDTV, so the graphics are standing out as being especially grainy, but that's most likely because I was used to standard def before (which hides so much of the flaws)

Art style, though, is top notch, just like the first game on Cube.  Pointer controls definitely add a bit, but you lock on so much it plays pretty much the same way as the Cube game too.  I haven't tried out Online yet.  I have to wrangle Karl up and get him to play some with me.

So is it safe to say that the game is as good if not BETTER than BWii? What about one console multiplayer, is that in it?

Are you using component cables Pale? Are you and Karl doing a joint review? If so, I may have to read that.
