if you look at this Pikmin pic, there is no split screen. Maybe they combine the screens if they are close, but I highly doubt that.
I wouldn't say that. Have you ever played Toe Jam & Earl? That had 2 player co-op. Not that lan wouldn't be fun thought

Couchmonkey, I know what you mean, I kinda hated sega during the snes days too, but since my bro was a gamer too, I still could play all their great games. But I also respected them as being in the same league as Nintendo. You know, actually being a GAME company. This is one of the reasons I hate sony. Like microsoft, they have no business being in the game industry, they make computers, cd players and tv's, why the heck should they be making videogames? I despise Microsoft the most because Bill Gates is just plain greedy. He could care less if he loses a billion dollars, just so long as he monopolizes the game industry like he has the computer industry. After all this ranting, I must admit that I do have a ps1 (only for ddr) and my bro has an xbox (he feels lost after the dc died and microsoft bought most of sega's games), but that does not mean I respect them as players in the industry at all.

Mouse_Clicker, I wouldn't buy from them, seeing as only a few people have gotten their pads and there are plenty of pissed off people in the fourms who have not gotten their pad in over 18 months. The you could get one of those soft pads with foam in the middle. You can find a lot of them on ebay, or any pad for that matter.

Guys, It won't be Sonic Adventure 3 because Naka said that they were abandoning the Adventure name for the Sonic's. It also won't be Virtua Fighter Quest because it was already announced to be exclusive to the cube. I do hope that it's NiGHTS, Skies of Arcadia 2, Phantasy Star 5, a Shining game, Shenmue 3 or even Streets of Rage 4

CloudSpekk, we dont really need 500 choices but the thing is is that the mainstream looks at a game systems selection. if a system has more games, he feels confident that he's making the right choice in systems.

Nintendo needs a violent game, as sad as that it, that will get it noticed. They also need to market the living poop out of it with very strong commercials. Commercials that will leave people going "wow, cool, I need to have that game". I have never see a nintendo commercial that did this to me.
I agree that nintendo needs a violent game. How about getting the driver games exclusive and getting a kick @ss advertising campaign going for it?
