Title: They REMOVED "You Spoony Bard!"

Anyone else depressed by this horrific abomination?

What I'm noticing is they'd dumbed down the enemies a RIDICULOUS amount so far. Example:

I was running around the field around Baron in the very beginning of the game. NONE of the Imp/Goblins attacked. Even in a party of 6 Goblins, they all sat there without attacking waiting for me to pick them off 1 by 1. When I saw a second party of 6, I defended over and over again to see how long it would take them to attack. After about 15-20 defends, one of them finally attacked.

The MistDragon was similar. This enemy actually attacked a few times, but she took sooooooooooo long to convert to Mist form all it took was a single attack afterwards to kill her. I remember her turning into Mist twice normally.

Is anyone else experience this "all enemies are fighting in molasses" effect, and does it last throughout the entire game?

Trust me. The difficulty ramps up quick. Expect normal enemies to begin killing some of your characters in 2-3 hits in most cases.

The beginning is pathetically easy, yes, but that doesn't last long.

This is based on a hardtype version of FF4, though I'm not sure exactly which one.

Post by: FalchionX9 on January 10, 2006, 10:28:15 AM: I will alleviate all problems. The line is in there just look closely at the top of the screen and if you cant find it I will personally get to that point again and snap a picture of it to prove it.

Post by: Karl Castaneda #2 on January 15, 2006, 01:17:15 PM: Yeah, I'm currently based at PGC's Southeastern Operations - Miami Branch. I wanted Alaska, but Jonny insisted that someone should live on the coast, in case any hurricanes threaten gaming as we know it.

As for Tales of Phantasia, I'm definitely looking forward to it.
