It's GC's Birthday? Cool!
*Turns it on*

Yeah, it likes that.

Saw The Matrix this morning. Wow.

Just wow.

The fight scenes are stunning to watch.
.. And they handed out special little Matrix cards when you got your ticket. Sposed to buy crap at the candy bar and activate it. Bah. I didn't wanna pay a million bucks for popcorn.

But Parra did a terrible job with the first session. The audio WAS HORRID. BEYOND HORRID! It was really hard to hear certain characters, as they had a echo to their voice. Boo-urns.

And we had to sit through 40 minutes of adverts and previews. No joke. People were actually screaming in rage by the half hour mark. Quite funny. Did get to see a trailer for the Animatrix on DVD, the game, and the T3 teaser. Nice.

Oh, and sorry to ask, but can anybody view my online journal, via the link below? Gaming Force isn't working, I dunno if it's just me though. My net is really crappy today, nothing loads -_-

AiAi: I said I think I've almost finished the game. Remember how I said I thought how the third dungeon was the end of the game? Yeah. I've finished the *south* and *north* dungeons, and I'm doing what I said in my last post.
It took me two months to complete Ocarina of Time. But then again, I only played it on weekends, since my parents didn't let me play games on school days. So I've almost spent as much time with Wind Waker as I did Oot, and I haven't finished it yet. I think it's safe to say both OoT and WW are over 40 hours, if you want to find everything. I've probably clocked 30+ hours on it.

Infernal: My net is slow today as well, but that's cause I'm downloading IGN's fricken massive MGS trailer. Bloody 44MB. You know what that's like for a dial-up user? Geez!
Your journal's not loading for me either, but that's prolly cause I have slow internet today.

And Nintendo.com's movies suck this year. Last year they were bloody awesome, and gave you goosebumps, but this year, they're bland, and only really got a "I'll get it" comment. I think Sega's really cool F-Zero GC trailer from 2 months ago still rocks. They should have not shown it and waited till E3.

The cube is a year old! OMG the memories are coming back to me. It was May 17 2002, i had planned to take the day off school that day so i could play my brand new Nintendo GameCube all day, i arrived at EB at 8.10, realised that the doors didnt open until 9am and just sat there and waited. I was so excited, like a little kid about to buy his first game. Unexpectedly, EB opened thier doors at 8.30, yay! I ran in there with my reciept, i had already fully payed everything off, so i just took the Cube, Luigis Mansion, Wave Race and a memory card and i was off! I got home at about 9am and plugged in my new console. First i popped in Luigis Mansion and i was like OMG it was so much fun, i played that for a few hours and then i played Wave Race and i was amazed at the graphics and the controls, its awesome. I spent that whole day doing nothing but playing my brand new Indigo Gamecube

And also its the one week anniversary of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker! OMG!

Anyways my internet connections been crap as well, msn and icq hardly load and my download rate has dropped down to 2.4 kb/s -__-

Termin8Anakin: Yeah the Nintendo.com trailers ARE lame this year, except for the final fantasy one Wow! I cant wait for that game, it looks so awesome, has anyone seen that trailer? And the Mario Golf one is sorta cool, it has cool music. The mario kart trailer doesnt even have music and the mario party 5 trailer doesnt even have any sound at all! And how boring is that pokemon colluseum trailer, teh lame! And yeah, fzero is

Well, the downlaod for the MGS trailer JUST finished. No kidding. I started it this afternoon, ate dinner, went to kabudo training, then played Zelda, AND watched Mr Deeds, and after all that was done, it was only 92% done. DAMN IT!

Mario: So far, I've only downloaded from nintendo.com the F-zero, Mario Kart, Geist, and Mario Gold trailers. MGS from IGN JUST finished, so I think I'll start the Final Fantasy trailer downloading. Geist looks pretty cool, no doubt about it. The animations look pretty cool and the game has heaps of potential. But I think the most impressive trailer I've seen so far is the (dodgy quality) Rebel Strike teaser trailer from IGN. How much like the movie was that! Man!

Infernal: And when we were watching the Matrix Reloaded, there were.........zero trailers and ads. That's right. As soon as we sat down, it was straight to the Warner Bros. and Village logos in Matrix-green. haha. That was good. I saw it at Readings in Auburn. We saw the Matrix before hand, so it was a double feature, and the only ad they showed before that was......the final trailer for Matrix Reloaded. Haha. It was all good. I wouldn't have been able to STAND 40 minutes of ads. They don't even do that normally. It's only like 10-15 minutes of ads and trailers.

Man! We've gone over 700 posts!
But that's nothing. I was just visiting the TheForce.net forums, and there's this one thread, called 'Get in Line - A Social Countdown to Episode III'. Guess how many replies it has?

94830

That's a lot. The next is around 1600. Anybody else have overly-large numbers like that on any other forums?

Hmm, the old hentai/porn thread at Gaming Force got about 9000 replies, and something like 500,000 views =P

9000 posts with attachments = Major strain
So it was closed, after like, 8 months..

Arrr, I think I'm almost up to the final castle in Zelda
Just gotta get that last map...

I certainly hope I don't get 40 minutes of adverts and previews on Tuesday night or it will be *hulk smash!*

I've downloaded several video clips.  Don't download the IGN MGS:TTS, it's freakin' 44MB.  Go to the Magic Box and they have a link to Konami's site and the download is 10MB.  Very 56k friendly.  I don't know if it's the same video, but there's no way in hell I'm gonna download a 44MB video clip.

Ones I've downloaded:
Mario Kart - looks like a hell lotta fun
F-Zero - WOW, the sense of speed is awesome
FF:CC - graphics are pretty, but the gameplay doesn't have me interested.  I would rent it first before buying.  Too early to tell.
Wario Ware Inc. - I NEED this game
MGS:TTS - boring video clip
Viewtiful Joe - I'm looking forward to this game.  Good old fashion 2D gameplay
Giftpia - I pray this game is released in PAL.  Looks like fun and cute!

As for the largest thread, I haven't come across one that's over 1000 post (or I have a short term memory span), but I remember in a forums that I used to be a regular, someone started a "Is a boob job a good thing?" thread!   Maybe one of us should start one, and get banned by the mods!  hehe

Heh, I really like the Grandia II OST.  Have you played it?  It's a really good RPG with an awesome battle system.
The songs I really like are Fight!! Ver. 1 and 3.

BTW, I don't think PGC will produce a E3 DVD this year.  Just my gut feeling.

Time to keep this thread alive.

I've seen Enter the Matrix for $86 at Big W. Very tempting at the moment. But I'm not sure about it, because I've basically heard nothing. Should I?

I'm going to hang out for Matrix Reloaded until Friday, but I'll see if I can last until then. Probably not.

Yes! Long weekend! Back to Zelda. Woo WW finishing Number 1!

Here's a "To Buy" List I've got so far:
~ Burnout 2
~ Skies Of Arcadia
~ Golden Sun - the Lost Age
~ Enter the Matrix - maybe
~ Resident Evil 2 & 3 (Nemesis)
~ NBA Street Vol 2.

~ Hardware for computer. So far I have the case. Damn good case too. It's an Antec Lanboy. I can't be bothered finding a pic, but it is very silver-ish, more than in the pics i saw. Now all I need is to shell out more moola for the guts of the system.

Ugh, I'm gonna be broke if I get all this!!!

*sign*

I've only played about 30 minutes of TWW, and Infernal Monkey has completed it.  Life is not fair.  I haven't had much time to play OoT.  I've got a lab report (almost finished),  group presentation and assignment due this week.

I've been thinking for my group presentation that we start off a la Troy McClure from The Simpsons!  What does anyone think of that?  You know..."blah blah blah, oh hi, I'm AiAi McBananas.  You might remember me from such..."

As for the Enter The Matrix game, I'll wait and see.  I'm always curious about license games.  They tend to suck.

I've nearly finished WW, and because of that, I wanna go slow. I DON'T WANT IT TO END! ARRGH! But I'll have to go through it a second time I guess.

I saw the Matrix again last night, and I actually get it now! In my own way of course, I don't quite know how to explain it.
As with the Matrix game, I'll just have to wait and see. My friend said it was really, really good, but he finished it last night, although only with Ghost. He needs to do it with Niobe now. But man, that was quick.
