You know where I take it BnM?  That the New Wasp suit is actually not a Wasp suit at all to begin with.  The original being lost with her mother but, instead the suit that she modifies is the Yellowjacket suit which is similar enough to  the Wasp suit to only need relatively minor modifications.  This would allow for a quick flashback to Pym being Yellowjacket and regretting what he did at that time.  Ultron could be a result of his Yellowjacket regret that he abandons as the weight of single parenthood starts to take its toll.  He puts Ultron in "safe" storage with S.H.I.E.L.D. till some time he can return to it but, Tony finds it during an inventory and decides to complete the project with the sparse notes left behind because Ultron was a one man project.  Tony not knowing that Pym had not worked out some key programming bugs finishes and activates him.

Latino Review has been consistently wrong since phase one ended. Their DC stuff has been more on track but even that's proved wrong before. (They called a flash movie for 2016 but we ended up with a TV series instead.)

You know what, I like that addition. It includes everything, like the details needed to bring Pym back to the SHIELD lab to work on Ultron again and a way to bring female Yellowjacket into the mix.

Also Michael Douglas teases possibly doing a sequel or more appearances as Hank Pym.

Eh more than likely Ultron will be a corrupted Jarvis or  shield taking National Security too far.

They've been playing up for the eventual fall of sheild through the TV show and in the new Cap film.

Pym's daughter is going to end up being Jocasta and will be a counterpoint to Ultron.

I know marvel must be miffed that they can't get ant-man out before A2.

They could have rushed Ant-Man, but Edgar Wright wanted to finish his "Cornetto" trilogy before his creative partner died of cancer. (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, At World's End)
His creative partner is now in full remission (from what I had read a while back) but he didn't know it would turn out way that 2 years ago when he put The Worlds End into full on production mode to be completed asap.

Wright & Whedon sat down and tweaked the original script to fit better with the still uncompleted at the time Avengers 2 script, so it's still possible that Pym created Ultron, but Stark brought him to life.

and such good things may come if Fox lets that F4 IP slip past it's Oct production date.
They really should just focus on branching out all the X stuff.
X-Men, X-force, Deadpool, Wolvering, X-Factor, Project X, X-Men Origins: Magneto/Storm/Cyclops and last but not least - Maddox: The Multiple Man
That is already so much for one studio to focus on, they should just do that.
Would make for perfect timing of tying in the cosmic Marvel back to earth with Reed & Company having been in space when something happened at the end of GotG or A2.

I really shouldn't get my hopes up though.

Knowing Fox they will poop something out quickly just to keep it.  Although, they may think the series isn't worth saving...they didn't have much success with it.

But I agree...if you go Cosmic, and then phase 3-4 you can bring it back home with a Fantastic Four movie that is great.

Fantastic Four is a weird concept that really doesn't work as well in the films. The best FF movies needed to skip these guys being super heroes and play up these guys being adventures with the team stuck in the Savage World or the Negative Zone. That or focus on the Future Foundation.

I'm not even talking about pym creating ultron anymore, mostly that there were rumors that whoever is Ant-man is going to be the next face of the MCU since Iron Man will only be in Avengers films.

Agents of SHIELD was good last night. 2 major things happened last night.

1. We find out about Skye's past and confirm some earlier speculation to some degree
Skye had a power, which means she may actually be Jessica Drew aka Spider Woman. A Marvel person did previously confirm that Skye is an existing Marvel character, but that was all that was said.

2. We have not only the creation of but are sending our 2nd Super Villain - Blizzard, to the sand box. If you render episode 3 or 5 saw the creation of Graviton and his storage at the secret SHIELD Sandbox facility.

Next episode supposedly focuses a little on May's past or maybe why she is known as the Cavalry, but the next episode doesn't air till Feb 4th. I'm guessing that is so that it can line up better with Capt. America 2 for that tie in episode.

Also features a cameo that was bound to happen eventually. nuff said ;)

Second villain cast for Avengers: Age of Ultron
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/stalingrad-actor-play-villain-avengers-671132
Quote
Thomas Kretschmann, who plays Abraham van Helsing on NBC’s Dracula, has signed on for a major villain role in The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
[...]
Sources say that Kretchmann will play Baron Wolfgang von Strucker, an antagonist for both Captain America (Chris Evans) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). In the comics, the man was a Nazi officer who becomes one of the heads of HYDRA, a terrorist organization.

Speculation is that he is in the beginning of the movie and helps introduce Quicksilver & Scarlet Witch.

Watching shield right now and its my favorite of the season thus far. I'm liking the world building they're doing in regards to shield as an organization.

So far we know that they're three Shield Academies
Intelligence
Operations
Science

We know of a few buildings and shield locations
The Triskelion
The Hub
The Sandbox
The Fridge
The Slingshot

It makes sense that The Avengers 2 would start off with showing two heroes in the wake of the MCU expanding.  I'm guessing they're going to be inhumans.

I'm looking forward to march since there will be a be  AOS that ties into The Winter Soldier.

Rumor: 1st of 2 villains are apparently in the process of being cast for Ant-Man.
http://thisisinfamous.com/michael-pena-is-turning-villain-for-ant-man/

Michael Pena excited to join the Marvel cast? Flashback villian for the original Ant-Man?
http://collider.com/ant-man-michael-pena/
http://www.thewrap.com/michael-pena-cast-ant-man-marvel-paul-rudd-michael-douglas

Word had it that the next casting we hear will be for the female lead that should be Wasp and very likely Pym's daughter.

http://www.bleedingcool.com/2014/01/14/rashida-jones-and-bryce-dallas-howard-on-ant-man-casting-lists-but-as-janet-van-dyne-hank-pyms-daughter-both/

Edit: Apparently Clifton Collins Jr. had also been cast in Ant-Man. No specifies role mentioned by Latino Review.

Lady Sif is coming to Midgard on an upcoming episode of Agents of SHIELD

The Lady Sif is making a trip to Midgard, and her journey will lead her straight to our favorite Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

That’s right, True Believers, Jaimie Alexander will make a special guest appearance as Sif in an upcoming episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," reprising her role from Marvel's "Thor" and "Thor: The Dark World"!

Last seen in "Thor: The Dark World"—now the third largest grossing Marvel Studios film—Sif has come to Earth with a very specific mission. Unfortunately, we can’t tell you just what brings her to our neck of the woods just yet.

A few episodes late if you ask me, but better late than never.
Besides, they gotta market that Thor 2 DVD release.... and what do you know, Feb. 25th just so happens to be a Tuesday. I'm guessing that's when the episode airs. What a coincidence. ;)

and in other Agents of SHIELD news

Well, I would hope so. Now lets also hope they pull back the curtain on what he is doing too.

Haven't seen Thor DW yet. Can people just move between Asgard and earth now?

I wouldn't say its too late. Its pretty obvious that after the lackluster first Half the plan is too push, the second half really hard like Arrow did in its first season

Looking g at Jamie Alexanders filmography they could probably get AIF as a main cast member and make her an agent of shield.

LOL. Yeah, I'm sure her schedule wasn't all that busy. But I just meant that she would have been a much better tie-in for the Thor 2 followup episode. What they delivered us was more than a little mis-leading from they advertised.

But maybe that is the reason Lady Sif comes to earth, to track down this long lost Asgardian?

Agent Carter still in the works at ABC
http://m.deadline.com/2014/01/tara-butters-michele-fazekas-shepherding-agent-carter-for-abc-marvel/

Agent Carter is a go. Hayley Atwell is cast and the show runners are on board.
http://www.thewrap.com/abcs-agent-carter-books-hayley-atwell-resurrection-duo-showrunners/
We knew it was coming as Hayley all but said so earlier, but looks like ABC will have an Origin Story of SHIELD on their hands possibly next fall.

Quote
ABC’s “Captain America” spinoff “Agent Carter” has landed Hayley Atwell, who played the World War II government agent in the movie, and showrunners Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas.

The announcements came at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, where Fazekas told TheWrap she was sworn to secrecy about the duo’s plans.

“You know Marvel. I think they send Captain America after you. But we’re involved in it,” she joked.

Butters and Fazekas, who have an overall deal with ABC, are presently working on the network’s upcoming “Resurrection.”

The show’s pilot is written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, who wrote “Captain America: The First Avenger” and the upcoming “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”

I wonder if they will be able to cast Howard Stark with the same actor too.
Maybe they can also get David Hasselhof to be the original Nick Fury ;) :P

Good catch!

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0371746/faq#.2.1.29
Is the theme music from the 1966 animated Iron Man TV series featured in the movie?       Yes. The theme from the 1966 series is played in the casino scene; in Stark's bedroom scene and as the personalized ring tone for Stark on James Rhodes' cell phone.
