I am sorry I missed someone's invite (can't remember whose at the moment) to join their lobby. Was in the middle of a round that I was aiming for a high score. :X
It was me. We’ll schedule a time next week maybe.

I've wanted a Macbook for years but I will not buy a laptop without a touchscreen. It's far too useful.
iPad Pro with magic keyboard?

Just hit me up whenever either of you would like to try the online. There's an invite system in this particulara Nintendo-published game which is rare and nice, so if we're Switch friends we can send each other invites! :)
I'd love to hit a round of 9 or 18 sometimes with you. I'll add you, although i think i might have already.

This is going to be goty yeah?

Just bring Xbox Live to switch honestly.

Thats pretty cool. How many batteries have you burnt through on it? My eight year old MBA is still on it's second battery but I feel the itch to replace it.

Just followed Phil as I didn't know he was on twitch.
Rabicle also streams on twitch at but is on Europe time so you might have to get up early (or stay up late) to catch him.
Thanks for the plug! It's actually Australian time, and I've been not streaming much lately due to the gf borrowing the room to study but I'll get back to it.

Will RABicle live stream success and truly earn the title of "finisher"?
So there's a 2 hour stream here
Spoiler: The final boss has some OP **** and I'm going to have some lunch and read some guides online about suggestions for tacking the fight before I go back.

I did it:

ALRIGHT SO if I can just barge in here.

So. I've seen this little competition you're all doing without me and I just thought I'd pop by to say that I have already met your requirements to beat 4 games on 4 different platforms.

According to my Backloggery I beat The Last Campfire on Switch on the 2nd of April, Titanfall 2 on PC on the 4th of April and The Stillness of the Wind on Macintosh just then.
Also, I didn't add it to my backloggery out of shame until just then but earlier this month I got hopelessly addicted to a licensed match 2 puzzle game/garden maker on iOS. It's called Simon's Cat Story Time and I played over 500 levels of increasing difficulty to save the public garden from destruction form the mean developer ex-boyfriend of Simon's new neighbour who he also develops a crush on. It was a beautiful game and maybe the Apple Arcade killer app. We'll see. But I played through that in one very dark week before my birthday sometime this month.

"But RABicle" I hear whichever of you has the most annoying voice whine. "PC and Mac are basically the same platform, especially to someone like you who just restarts his iMac into Windows". You know what? Fine. So, tomorrow, in maybe 12 hours from making this post, I will stream Terranigma, the PAL SNES sensation, which I have never beaten, from my newly arrived SuperNt and I will beat it. I understand I only have a few hours to go and you can all shower me in glory.

I signed up for the one year free trial of AppleTV+ and have yet to actually watch anything. I keep forgetting it exists.

Watch Ted Lasso. That's not just me being a soccer fan, it's really good and definitely the best thing on there. Mythic Quest is pretty good too.
Ted Lasso is like... it's a sitcom where they forgot to make it funny but did make it warm and fuzzy.

What i found most fascinating about the Spring Loaded event is that Apple are now basically selling the exact same hardware, the M1, in 4 different form factors. Is this the future of personal computing?

Replying to suggest that the game's dialogue be moved from the pro column to the negative column. I found it excruciating and wanted every character to die.

Yeah I think I just want a GBA with an IPS screen, a flashcard and be done with it.

Wait so what was the origin of the virus? Tell us tell us!

Incredible to think that last week people were picking up their PS4 Destiny 2 save games from their new Xbox Series X's and here we are, still with a whole lot of questions about how Animal Crossing is going to manage switch to swtich save transfer.

Fucking hell Nintendo didn't thnk this through at all. Glad its finally here though.

Not in any way a medical expert but here's my wild speculation regarding possible vaccines:
  • Many vaccines require at least two doses.
  • The flu vaccine is annual because the flu rapidly mutates and it covers many different strains.
So I would speculate that we would need at least two, and possibly ongoing annual vaccinations until this virus is truly eradicated like smallpox.
Two big caveats:
We have never vaccinated against a coronavirus before, and we've never deployed an mRNA vaccine before. So who knows. Maybe that's good, or maybe it's much much worse.

1. I have the 38mm Gen 2 watch. I prefer the smaller size and I am also a wristlet.

2. GPS only, would love cellular just for the ability to listen to music while exercising without my phone.

3. No although I might consider a screen protector in the future.

4. I haven't tried it, I'm actually a little sceptical about how long it will hold it's stretches since you'll be taking it on an off each day to charge. I have a Nike sport band and a Milanese stainless steel band. Both I highly recommend.

Thats how mine are. It works well.

With the switch I just archive a game once its beaten. Also because I felt I needed to check, I currently have 69 icons on my switch. I remove demos and trials and stuff like that.

Regarding the environmental impact of not including the charger: This is less about packaging waste (Apple packaging is predominantly cardboard therefore recyclable/compostable) or even the excess unused chargers. It's about the size of the package. The iPhone 12 box is less than half the volume of the iPhone 11 box. That means they can physically fit twice as many of them in a single shipping container/truck/pallet etc. In a way, it's half the carbon emissions in transport costs and that's a big deal when they're planning on selling ~100,000,000 of these.

Have you considered buying less games?

I should inform this thread that I bought myself the latest and final intel iMac 27inch. I got the stock CPU/GPU but with 1TB SSD and 16GB of RAM.
Overall I'm really pleased with it. I know these 5k screens have been around for quite some time now but it truly is incredible having all these screen real estate. On the other hand, I haven't used a desktop Mac regularly since... well since the old CRT iMacs really. In that time I had forgotten how fucking horrible APple's mice are. I've bought a white Razor DeathAdder to plug in instead but I'm wishing I had ordered one of those oversize trackpads instead.

It also means I now have a USB-c out port in case I ever bought a new iPhone but Dad just rang to say he wants to get a 12 Mini and is offering me his SE2 so I'll probably just take that since it's only a few months old.
