Just because the regular crew's taking the week doesn't mean you fine folks aren't getting a podcast! On this RFN special, you'll be hearing my uncut interview with Graeme Devine, an industry veteran whose resume is likely longer than your arm, with credits like The 7th Guest, Age of Empires 3 and Halo Wars. But before all of that, he worked on a little game for the NES called Silver Surfer, which just happens to be this month's Reset Button!

This episode may be short, but it's packed with interesting factoids about the game, not to mention some crazy anecdotes about working in the video game industry back in the late eighties/early nineties. I hope you guys enjoy our conversation, and be sure to come back next week for Episode 192 of Radio Free Nintendo!      Credits:

I really liked that interview. Behind the scenes stuff on old system is fascinating for some reason.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. Graeme was awesome to talk to, and aside for the bit about Apple, very open about his career. I've already locked down the next game and developer to interview, and I think it'll be just as good.

Just listened to it over the weekend. Great stuff, Karl.

Also, TMNT was created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The entire property was recently sold to Nickelodeon.

Great interview! I was especially amused by the licensing saga, and the explanation for why the game is so hard. :-D

I'm glad that you plan to keep doing similar interviews on retro games. It's nice to get a peek behind the curtain, especially when enough time has passed that everyone's comfortable with spilling the beans. I'm especially impressed that he managed to remember all the details from twenty years ago, although I guess we'll never know who Mystery Sprite Man was supposed to be.

Looking forward to the next interview!

Didn't know what to expect with this interview episode, but was blown away by how entertaining and informative it was.  Great interview - which speaks well for both the interviewer and interviewee!

This interview was easily my favorite part of the Silver Surfer Reset Button, and I think the game I'm working on now is no different. I completed my interview with the developer last night, so I can give you guys three details:

1. It's a Super Nintendo game.
2. The interview podcast will easily be twice as long as this one.
3. The interviewee has worked on *VERY* well-known games, including the one I'm featuring.

I'm extremely excited about this one. It's going to be hard to wait a whole three weeks to unveil it.
