I went to see the Hulk friday night, went to a rad party Saturday night and met this really cute chick, tried absinthe for the first time, and then went to watch Spamalot.

Then, I finally found a copy of Terminator 2 on DVD, and watched the directors commentary Sunday morning.

It was a pretty fucking rad weekend.

I committed a hit and run today. I felt bad for the family and wasn't happy with the damage they all did to my car but I decided I wasn't going to let responsibility, depression and life keep me down or behind at the scene of the crime. No way I was going to let that weigh on me and stunt me for decades. Like water off a duck's back, I always say.

Oh, and then I had ice cream. Ice cream always cheers me up when I know I'm going to have to get another dent in my car fixed. Ice cream is the secret to happiness and a worry free life.

That was a bizarre post. I don't know why I posted it. I wasn't even sure if I should post. Yet, I felt compelled to post it anyways. Just so unusual. At least for me. So unusual, I felt the need to provide a poster's commentary on it after the post.

tried absinthe for the first time

Dammit, where do you find absinthe?! Gotta get me some of that...

You can't get the real stuff in the states.  However, if you look hard enough you can find it without wormwood.  If you look really hard you can find wormwood separately, and add it yourself.  Unfortunately, it's not very good.  A few years ago a friend and I did just that.  First we drank half the bottle and then he proceeded to drink the other half by himself in an attempt to see a green fairy.  He passed out later in disappointment.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!
