Might as well join the list.  Still only tinkering with my Wii U due to a massive Wii backlog, but starting to play more often lately.  Strongly considering grabbing Monster Hunter and getting back into that massively entertaining time sink.

Question: Can you not add people to your Miiverse friend list on the 3DS? Just tried to add folks and cannot find the option anywhere.

I'm pretty sure that the friend lists are still separated and still require the old methods of adding them. So for 3DS, you'll still need to exchange the system friend code to add people.

You can't add/request people through Miiverse? I thought that was different. Or do I have to stalker 'follow' people?

You can only send a friend request using Miiverse on the Wii U, and they will only be added to your Wii U friend list, not your 3DS list.

As far as I'm aware anyway, I don't spend much time on there.
