Superman would have done all that he could to take the fight away from populated areas. The special effects are awesome. The story is not Superman. He's supposed to be a boy scout, instead he comes off as barely self aware, and absolutely oblivious to everything else around him, EXCEPT THAT ONE HELICOPTER. Thank god he at least saved the dude from CSI.

And I still strongly disagree that Supes would kill with his bare hands.

Yes, they should have had Henry keep the beard for the whole movie. If he went shirtless, the ladies would have seen it multiple times.

You kids and your superhero movies. I don't think of the original Superman as a 'summer blockbuster' film, and that's the bar I hold for all future Superman films. I also didn't say it was good or bad. Instead of being a masterpiece of storytelling or whatever, it's "just" a summer blockbuster.

Superman doesn't kill, at least not with his bare hands.

So.... Man of Steel...

I guess it's a thing to remake sequels. First, Star Trek II, now Superman II.

It made $130 million over the weekend, everyone loves it. Woo. Not me, though. Its a summer blockbuster, not a story of the character. So, if you see the film, leave your fanboy shirt at the door.

I came away feeling that Nintendo is tired of making games. Just rehashes. Play it safe, serve the norm. Uninspired. Now, I do like the upside down tracks in Mario Kart, though I did not play MK on Wii so I may have missed something there.

I love Nintendo's hardware designs, but man, the software limitations that are imposed due to the developers catering to the other manufacturers is killing me.

The Crew reminds me of the latest Need For Speed. The takedowns of the bosses are the weakest part of that game. And now here is a game of nothing but takedowns.

Ubisoft hasn't shown Beyond Good and Evil 2 yet... wonder if we might see it tomorrow?

Sony did good tonight though. I didn't think I would be interested in Xbone or PS4, but I certainly am looking hard at the PS4.

Both of these games are Sega. I think it shows Sega doesn't want/know how to market the game/characters and is leaving it up to Nintendo. We're not going to see any major 3rd party franchise get locked up on the Wii U. I'd love it if Nintendo showed some initiative and locked up some offering by a major development house, but whatever.

Exactly what I was saying. You have to play online to unlock the online cars and upgrades. The thing is you have to win or earn points to unlock certain things, which gets difficult when you are facing off against people who have better equipment.

Playing on a public online match is almost unfair against people who have the time to sink and unlock the Hennessey Viper and other top of the line vehicles. I wonder if they try to match you with others of a similar skill level, or just randomly pair you up.

Actually, considering how poor the Wii U's sales have been month after month, I'd say you're in the minority if you find the current selection of Wii U games appealing.  That's not opinion.  That's a completely prove-able fact based on the Wii U's market penetration and software sales compared to its competitors'.

No, it's conjecture. It could be insufficient funds. It could be a lack of education on available games, or the lack of knowledge on features of the games that are available.

That said, Nintendo should have had their **** together when they launched the WiiU. "Give it time" shouldn't be an excuse to fall back on.

I said Deus Ex because the rumor was it was coming. The decision by the publisher to bring such an old game to the wii u is laughable, instead of putting the same resources into a current release such as Tomb Raider.

Bioshock Infinite. Hell, Angry Birds Star Wars.

I broke your 3:20 with 3:15 in my Hennessey

But I had 3:25 before that. Wonder why you aren't seeing my scores. My face is plastered all over most billboards I come across. There is one that drives me insane, the middle of the park. I don't know the name of the park, but you'll know it when you see it. Who has it now did 218 in the Aston Martin. I'm blazin in my Hennessey and the fucking car goes over the billboard every single time, except when it does I'm going too slow to match the distance. So I upgrade the Aston as much as I can... WTF? This car is slow ass. How 218 was hit in this car is beyond me. And trying to do the Gravity race in it and have a speed of 130.. not happening. It barely tops out at 150 on boost.

Anyway, BnM, I saw you online but I have no way to communicate with you. If we were playing on the 360, I could just bring up the console and send you an invite. This is where Nintendo drives me crazy. How hard is it to just let people send messages to their friends from anywhere on the WiiU? Just hit Home, click Friends, click name, send message, back to game. No, you have to exit the game, go to miiverse, go to conversations, start one, then wait for the friend to notice that the miiverse icon is active so they can log in and see the message. Which means they are no longer playing the game you want to play. ****!

It would have been cool for Criterion to step up and allow some sort of message system to be set up in the game.
