Topic: Mafia LVII Friendship is Chaos Day 2 Cloudsdale

The Mane 6 had made it to where the Elements of Harmony were being kept because they thought that they could help figure out the problems in Ponyville.

There at the ancient castle of the Royal Pony sisters Twilight and Nightmare Moon stood off and Twilight Sparkle undeterred stared at Nightmare Moon. Twilight Sparkle started to stomp her hoof and as to charge her foe and NightMare Moon just responded with.

After that Twilight Sparkle and Nightmare Moon charged at each other and Nightmare moon ended up being the victor because of superior Magic skills. Twilight Sparkle was sent to the moon then. Impressed with her power of doing that and thinking only Princess Celestia could do that she boasted a bit to much and let her guard down.

Just after that happened Pinkie Pie comes in with a Katana sword after breaking the 4th wall and cuts Nightmare Moon down. Hopefully for the rest of the Equestria that happens many more times.

Iron Will(apdude) is in Ponyville showing off his new assertiveness seminars and he unfortunately is to assertive for his own good. All the ponies in Ponyville jeered at him for what he did to Fluttershy the last time he was in Ponyville and they Put their hoofs down and ran him out of town.


The Mane 5 and several random other characters went to Cloudsdale. Rarity being a unicorn used a spell so that everyone could walk on the clouds without falling to the ground.

Day 1 results.

Apdude was voted out of the game. He was a normal pony. He had the number 17 which meant he had an anvil in his posessision on Day 1. He used it on someone but they didn't use their ability that night.

Ceric was Nightmare Moon. She was killed by a Katana blade.

NWR Insanolord was Twilight Sparkle and was killed by the Mafia.

Now you may be wondering how Ceric got the hit on Insanolord. Well even though the katana blade killed Ceric Nightmare moon wasn't affected by a poison joke flower or she wasn't voted out himself.

 So you either have to get lucky or vote out the Godfather townies. I will say this apdude did land his anvil on the GF it just doesn't affect hits.

Also Ceric did land the Elements of Harmony in the item choices back on day 1 and now that he is dead that item is out of play since he was Mafia. So it is now 1 through 19.

 I got some advanced submissions for numbers and one was 20 so for that person let me know if you want 19 or if you want to change your number.


As always I will be closing the day at Midnight EST tonight and we will be playing this weekend. Also everyone can send me PMs 1 through 19 now. 1st come first serve. Also in case you haven't guessed I am randomizing the item order each day.

Well, that was an interesting day. Lost two townies but took out a leading mafia member as well. That was pretty successful for a first day.
 
I've got to head out since my little cousin is going swimming and someone (unfortunately me) has to watch him. I'll be back later. Hopefully there will be more activity in this game!

Well, that's a bit of a bummer. Insanolord was the detective and we've lost him. Plus, he was also whacked the first day last mafia game and again this game. oohhboy and ThePerm were mafia last game but they aren't even playing this round so I can't attribute that to a pattern. Still, I feel bad for the guy. It's great the mafia is down a member but it slows us townies down also.

On another front, of the remaining players still alive, the following 5 people did not vote:

All have checked in since the roles have been handed out except mop it up. So right now, she's not a threat. Could be mafia, could be innocent but she's neither helping or hurting anyone at the moment. Don't know if the others were around on friday. Only just decided to check on these few this morning.

I imagine Oblivion will claim his abscence on his new job since he decided to post about it in the funhouse. Could be true. Plus, he seemed disappointed that he didn't get a mafia role last game so if he had one this game, I think he'd be a bit more active. But that's an assumption on my part.

Unclebob. Was quite active last game even after getting killed the first day. But quiet this game. That said, he's always been more active even with a role like mafia or the killer so laying low may be a sign he is a townie and doesn't feel the need to be around so much. Again, just an assumption based on my percieved views of playing behavior.

Therefore, it comes down to fzeroboyo and Bustin98. I'll give fzeroboyo a pass for being new and target Bustin98 for now.

Actually, Kush is right, I've been busy with my job for about a week now. I was working at 4 in the morning putting ad signs up for the store so sorry if I wasn't interested in Mafia yesterday. I don't work all this week thankfully, so I'm back now and will be more active, I promise. Sorry for not voting.


That doesn't explain why the other's aren't active. Maybe they have busy lives right now?

Well, another thing was that apdude banwagon that popped out of nowhere. One of those voters was a mafia member, so it could be possible, though unlikely, that some more of them tagged along trying to pass by as townies following a vote.
 
Those would be ShyGuy, S-U-P-E-R, Ceric, and jrlibrarian.
 
Now Ceric can be taken out of this rotation since he was slain by whoever earned the katana sword. S-U-P-E-R and ShyGuy were all in the beginning, but then jrlibrarian jumped in later with one quick vote and disappeared. Suspicious, maybe.
 
I'll vote bustin for now, see how things turn out from there. Not enough people around to make some real judgements. Kind of sad how this game is as inactive as it is.

Sorry guys. I'm not feeling it this time around. And things have been slow in here when I did check in.

Thankfully too my job has been keeping me busy too. A good thing for those who are self-employed. Not good if playing mafia, though, eh?

I think that mafia members tend to be more active, along with important townies. I will vote jrlibrarian to go off silenced's suspicions.

Finally got around to role-playing. Not that I will be doing much since I've never seen a second of the show but looking over the characters, this was one of the few to catch my eye so I went with it. His name is Filthy Rich and he has moneybags on his butt thereby living up to his name.

I'm not convinced about the Jr vote but I'm also not going to go out of my way to stop it since I did find it suspicious as well. I just don't see the mafia all joining together to ensure apdude voted out on day one when he hadn't shown himself to be a threat to them or anyone else.
Also, the vote should be 4 - 2.
