Resurrecting this thread. Wondering what people are using.
I'm looking at getting this one:

Seems like it's, I don't know, almost too cheap to be legit. Reviews are good but they are also very recent.

Been playing Sakura Samurai for the 3DS. Not bad. I'm about 3/4 of the way through world 2 and I am just about done with the grind of increasing difficulty but basically same-ey gameplay. Not sure if I will continue much longer. But it's been fun and satisfying to get there. Not bad for a cheapie.

Just finished Costume Quest I've been playing this game for three years now, it took me awhile because I basically only played it in October. It was a fun story that hit a lot of classic Halloween hallmarks, but the turn based combat is overly simple. At least there are no random encounters!
Costume Quest is a joy. Just pure fun and nostalgia. Love the music, love the concept, love the battle animations. Great game. My one criticism is the text is too small. This is the bane of many a modern game though.
Reminds me I have to finish CQ2 one of these days.

GODDAMMIT! I can't believe I'm missing this game. I gotta check in more often.
Have fun y'all. I look forward to reading the day threads.

Just got off the phone with my local Walmart (Canada). They had 106 units to sell and did so in the first 45 minutes of the day. Not bad.

Called 2 local Best Buys, both had identical recorded messages "Looking for the Super NES Classic? Sorry, information is not available by phone." Lol.

Called my local EB Games earlier in the day, about 20 minutes before they were *supposed* to open, just to see if it was worth running down there on a break to snag a console. They had opened an hour earlier. They claimed there were lineups from 5:00 a.m. (it was almost 10:00 by the time I called.) They were, of course, sold out, and fairly rude about it too.

Not looking too good.

It is confirmed in the Nintendo-issued "fact sheet". It's a "talented new development team" developing Prime 4. Just Google "Metroid Prime 4 Fact Sheet". Or here's an example:

So are you saying there is a lag when playing on a TV or do you think that's a function of being in the weird E3 environment?

Ultimate Spiderman has been my fave so far, but I also really liked Shattered Dimensions and, yes, Amazing Spiderman (I have it on WiiU). There's fun swinging around the city in that last one.

I like that SM Odyssey had a full out original swing tune for its trailer. I assume the song is or will shortly be available for download? It's a pretty great standalone tune, IMHO.

Dat Spider-man doe.
You mean QTE Spider-Man? Looks real pretty but littered with timed button-presses to win? That one?

Continuing from MP3 on Wii, they're really going to take advantage of the improved motion control in the joy cons. Opening doorknobs and twisting gears and sipping hot alien tea will be soooo much more intuitive now.

Hey Canada (and the U.S., I assume)
If you got the bucks, the gold PS4 (in honour of E3, I think) is about the best deal on a PS4 I've seen so far. No bundled game but includes 1TB hard drive for C$329. And if you hate it, it probably has decent re-sale value being a limited edition funky colour

I got a PS4. Went in for the gold E3 special one that was finally at a price I could live with.

Now I gotta save up for a Switch, I suppose.

MetroidFan: [nervous] I don't wanna hear 'bout no motherfucking ifs. All I wanna hear from your ass is, "You ain't got no problem, MetroidFan, I'm on the motherfucker. Go back in there, chill them playas out and wait for the games, which should be coming directly".
Nintendo
: You ain't got no problem, MetroidFan. I'm on the motherfucker. Go back in there and chill them playas out and wait for Prime 4, which is in development currently.
MetroidFan
: [MetroidFan pauses and becomes calm] You makin' Prime 4?
Nintendo
: Oh, you feel better, motherfucker?
MetroidFan: [laughing] ****, Nintendo, that's all you had to say!

Alphonso Cazedy was Zed Zed Top's manager for awhile in the early 70s. Nice guy. Italian. Good cook.

The best dating sim on DS was Personal Trainer: Math.

It was clearly a thinly veiled tribute to such classic films as My Tutor and Private Lessons

Rather than dive extensively into the details of the game, since it seems hard to believe that at this point people wouldn’t at least have some loose familiarity with it

Nothing for the Wii U e-shop in NA? Is this the first time for that since it launched?
Is this, truly, the end?
I blame the Oilers
