Just took a quick look, awesome artwork!
Thank you!

Are you going to do Fusion eventually?

Yes sir! I'm doing them all in order of release.

Hey everybody, David O here (I did the art on the RFN shirt).

I'm working on a new project that I thought some of you might be interested in.

Having never played any of the Metroid games, I have decided to play through all of them and illustrate the whole journey. I call it The Metroid Chronicles.

Here's a link to the series if you want to check it out, tell me what you think!

Nintendo Gaming / Hulu and Youtube freeze my Wii U
« on: May 15, 2013, 12:57:59 AM »
So ever since I got it, my Wii U has pretty frequently frozen up on Youtube and Hulu. The video will play for a bit and then just freeze and I have to unplug the system. It even freezes up on the menus of those two apps sometimes.
I called Nintendo and they want it sent in for a repair. Am I overreacting? Does this happen to anybody else?

How long was the wait between the Guild01 games?

In the wise words of Hayden Christensen...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooo!

Don't you mean James Earl Jones?

Well technically.... yes. Hold on, I can fix this.

In the ridiculous Frankenstein-like body movements of Hayde- oh forget it. haha

Anyway, this is unfortunate news.

I'm pretty sure that the black ones are neutral. It says the strengths and weaknesses under the colored Denpa men's stats, but on the Black it says nothing.

Has anyone found one with the attack "fatal"? he has a scary face and says that his attack should be used cautiously, but doesn't give any more details.

After spending nearly a week with the game now, I still think it's pretty great,
As predicted, my little Denpa men were a bit overpowered for the first dungeon, but it equalized over time.
I love the way that you can tell 1 or 2 of your men what to do but then let the game automate the rest of them, it's a pretty indispensable feature with a party as big as 8.

Well that's the best news I've heard all day.
Seeing as how it has seen a recent release on IOS, I would hope that Sega would release Rythm Thief on the Eshop as well.

And that's the biggest reason it will never happen. I just hope that third-parties start releasing their games digitally, and not just Nintendo.
Although we have no real way of knowing how easy or difficult the process of a digital release is for a third party developer, I hope that Nintendo has made it a really viable option for them.

The perfect situation would be if physical games came with a code to download the digital copy so that you always have it with you.

For one, I want DOA:D. I don't care if I have to buy it twice, I just want that game permanently embedded into my system.

I feel that way about just about every 3DS game. I don't want to carry cartridges anymore... it's 2012.

At this point, I tend to get much more excited about Eshop than retail games mostly because of the convenience.

I find myself playing it way too much even though it's only a demo. My Denpa men will probably be way overpowered when I can finally venture forward. haha

So the "Denpa Men: They Came By Wave" demo is officially out in the US Eshop, and I gotta say... I love it!
The battle system is pretty simple, but in a good way, and the AR mode where you catch the little guys is super fun.
Has anybody else gotten a chance to play the demo yet?

This is 10% speculation and 90% wishful thinking, but could the release of the Theatrythm demo mean that the game will soon be available as the first third party downloadable retail game?

Of course the demo for TFF would finally  be released right after demand for the game seemingly skyrockets and the price is raised to 50 dollars in many places... Oh well.

I played the 2 songs that the demo comes with repeatedly for half an hour straight, I'm in love!

General Chat / NWR Fan-Art help

Hey there internet. I am currently working on Fan art of the Radio Free Nintendo Crew. I have the first 2 done and can be seen here...

And here...

I am a little bit stuck on Johnny though. At the top of the pictures there are status bars, James has Rage (98%) and Jon has Completion (2%)
But what should Johnny have?

Also, in the right hand corner with the abilities I have class: Magic user, and Weapon of Choice: Harmonica, but I need one more.

The picture has been done for a week, but I can't figure out how to finish it.

Any suggestions?

Yeah, San Bernardino has a ton of PBS stations for some reason. But the closest the live show has ever gotten is L.A.

It is a major matter of taste, and if you are not a fan than i wouldn't suggest it, but I love the mega64 podcast. I have watched it every week for almost 4 years now.

The Weebls stuff podcast has but 4 short sweet episodes, but it's delightful if you like British humor.

And if you are into Tabletop gaming, the D6 generation podcast is good as well.

Nintendo Gaming / Beatles Rock Band
« on: September 01, 2010, 10:49:32 PM »
So I just got Beatles Rock Band  for the Wii (finally) and I am noticing that the graphics are fantastic! I have played the 360 version and it looks almost as, if not just as good. But that leaves me wondering. Did they use the same video from the HD consoles as they did in the Wii version?

Thanks so much Maxi for sharing the showtimes! I could not for the life of me find them on the PBS site.
