Two new trailers for Darksiders II were revealed today featuring gameplay, the game's loot system, and the game's skill trees.

Darksiders II releases on consoles on August 14, with the Wii U version coming later in 2012. Check out the two trailers below.

Damn, this game is making a strong case to be purchased along with my WiiU launch horde.  I wasn't a big fan of Darksiders 1 but the additions they are making to this are really selling me on it, especially the loot aspect and exploration.  I'm a sucker for loot and I think the lack of exploration is what hurt the first game for me.  It just felt too linear up to the point where  I shelved it.

Dammit, now there's another early Wii U game that looks good. This launch is shaping up to be fantastic, and expensive.

Darksiders II looks good, better than the 1st which fizzled towards the middle/end. I'll probably pick it up on PS3 when the price drops since I probably won't have a Wii U anytime soon. Next year is looking like an expensive year for me. I want to also get an iMac so I'll weigh my options when the times comes.

So this is mature Zelda right? I want this game so bad! It's my number one purchase for Wii U right now.
