Skullgirlz looks a little wierd to me. I need to see it in motion. I don't like the character designs, that's for sure. They seem generic and a little too 'tooney.

I can let you all in on a little secret: DoA Dimensions is quite good. The review should be going up today. I haven't played Street Fighter IV 3D, but Dead or Alive packs some content into that little card...it's just too bad the 3D effect it's that great.

From what I heard so far that the online mode is terrible compared to SSFIV which has an excellent one.

Do any of you regularly play fighting games online on either 360 or PS3? My question is like smash bros does lag almost 100% get in the way of someones skill? As in when people talk about tiers and such, are online matches never included?

Every fighter I've played on PS3 and 360 has better performance for Smash Bros. For games like BlazBlue, SF4, and HDR, it's extremely solid and the lag is unnoticeable if your connection is reasonable. Shoutouts to wireless connections being garbage

Tier lists that get passed around are usually based on tournament results and how the very best players perform, but there's still an amount of subjectivity to them, so take them with a grain of salt. Sometimes it's pretty obvious who the best characters are... and sometimes it's not. Sometimes it doesn't even matter and only comes down to individual matchups.

Good to know. So when Cafe does get Soul Calibur V(and it will) and the Cafe does have a decent online system, lag shouldn't be much of a deal breaker as it was in brawl. Fantastic thank you!

Honestly, if I were head nerd in charge of console design, I would make ethernet cable connections mandatory for realtime games so you wouldn't have to deal with retards losing packets everywhere.

Brawl worked fine if you and your opponents had good connections. That's how peer-to-peer play works. It's not exactly Nintendo's fault that most people don't seem to know how to set up a basic home network.

I know i played a few games and I could sware my opponent was sitting right next to me. But as time went on things just got worse and worse. I got so used to the slight online delay playing offline was a completely different game. I just hope this time I can play smash for even more years to come, same with Soul Calibur.

Brawl was terrible. I had a hard time playing someone just ~30 miles down the road. Whereas SSF4. I've very rarely had a match that wasn't like playing local, though when its not its really is bad.

I haven't played Street Fighter 3 but, someone is going to have to explain how its a world different enough to get a release again now.
