I only did to for laughs. And we took turns using it in different games. :P

I laughed when my friend tried to use it in Goldeneye and he got upset that he lost. Rapid fire does not make you a better player.

Yeah that's true, because you still have to aim.

Then again, rapid fire + grenade launchers + infinite ammo + one-hit-kills = mass destruction. I'd have liked to see you face that.

The best cable you can get for N64 is S-video and you definitely should get one, but use a standard CRT telly if you have one.

Doesn't the N64 (and SNES, for that matter) have the same input as the GameCube?  If so, you can use GCN component cables (which don't come cheap, mind you).
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

No, the GameCube has a separate special input for the component cable so it cannot be used with the SNES and N64. And even if it could, neither system can output an RGB signal so it would make no difference.

However, if you have an S-video cable for the GameCube then you can use that with the N64 and SNES.

Unless you have an SNES Mini.  The S-Video cables won't work on it.
Just some random guy on the internet who has a different opinion of games than you.

Yeah, true, they cheaped out on the redesigned model. It's pretty uncommon these days though, and not worth the prices it fetches.

Here's an interesting Craiglist ad, its gotta be fake, who would ever get evicted and leave all these wonderful goodies behind?

This one is tempting, just around the corner from me and they still have the box, some good games, all the cables and only $35.  Should I bite or hold out for a better color?  Tough choice.
