Memory Card Problems
« on: April 01, 2003, 12:16:55 PM »
A few days ago I picked up a brand new Nintendo Memory Card 251 (I think that's the right number) to replace my crappy Nyko 59 memory card. Right when I got it I copied my save files over from my Nyko and started to play some LOZ: ooT. It didn't work. After trying with some other games and getting the same results, I unplugged everything hooked up to my Gamecube (Wires, Modem, Memory Card) and cleaned off my GameCube's Lens with some rubbing alcohol and a Q-Tip. I booted up my GC to play LOZ again and it started to work. I looked down and realized I had forgotten to plug my MC251 back in. As I plugged it in the music on the LOZ: ooT main screen (the one where you choose from regular or master quest) stopped playing. I was still able to select my game and tryed to get OoT to load up but it dosen't.

Any Ideas on how to fix this. I might be wrong but don't you have to format your memory card. If so how do I do this?
