I highly recommend you young whipper-snappers read "The Ultimate History of Video Games" by Steven L. Kent. It follows the progress of games from pre-Pong up to the launch of the current generation of systems. Very informative, and I was able to read it all in about a week over Christmas.
Man I remember having one of those. I wish my mom hadn't given it away. At least some kids put it to good use.

I believe for the target audience (adult gamers) this is a fine ad. If this were to pop up in a mag/website/tv com. more geared toward kids, then it would bring an uproar. Good job advertising NOE.

What is this card slidey thing. I found it on ebay, it kinda looks like an e reader but it uses chip cards instead of dot/barcode reader, like the american e reader.

Problem i had was when i had something to deliver or pick up, if they were in an igloo i couldnt pick up or deliver the item. You can't push them out or anything.

I've got it for xbox and its one of THE best title xbox has. I hope the gamecube version competes well with the xbox. PS2's looks horrible.

SMS bundle is a seperate promotion. The free game is the newest promo. IMO its a better deal, you get to pick your game and for a few bucks more you can buy a memory card.

and to answer the question, Microsoft is not divulging the loss on their consoles. It is speculated at about $100 U.S. per console though.

I really only go by reviews if I am renting the game. Once that is done and it's proven that the game is a must buy, i go out and get it.
