The Pokémon Company is continuing its pattern of worldwide releases with Pokkén Tournament.

The Wii U fighting game will launch worldwide on March 18 (19th in Australia). The date was confirmed for Japan in last November's Nintendo Direct, but the date was originally given as "Spring" for the rest of the world.

Pokkén will also support LAN play, meaning two players can battle on separate televisions at full framerate.
