The long awaited Rhythm Heaven compilation for 3DS will launch this year in North America.

Known as Rhythm Heaven Megamix, the game is confirmed for a 2016 release. The 100 missions will include 70 levels from the GBA, DS and Wii Rhythm Heaven titles and 30 original levels.

Hm, if this is mostly content from previous games, I'm not sure I'm interested. Maybe if the game reaches $5 like the previous ones did...

I nearly jumped out of my chair when the game came up on the Direct. Can't wait!

Yes, it is mostly content from older games, but a significant portion of those are from the GBA Rhythm Tengoku - The first game in the series - which never got a US release. So, for western gamers at least, there is a much better proportion of new vs. old content. Also, most of the games in RT were really fun.

Nintendo "won" E3 early, as far as i'm concerned, just by confirming this game.

The best Nintendo series from best Nintendo studios.

The game has new content pretty much equivalent to that of a new entry in the series, all the other songs are icing on the cake.

I have only ever played the DS game, so I will definitely buy this

Man I couldn't hold it when they announced this. I was thinking though, I really liked the flicking mechanic, and pressing A and A B on the Wiimote felt pretty nice, and rhythmy. I'm a little worried that just pressing A wont do the trick.
