Mario Golf is fantastic news. The rest? Also cool.

But oh man, Mario Golf!

Wario Land II will probably much do it for me.  I don't have any interest in playing NES releases on the Go, especially when I already own many of their Wii VC counterparts.
There was a Signature here. It's gone now.

I am extremely excited for Mario Golf, both because I really want to play it and because it means we're that much closer to Mario Tennis, which is one of my favorite games ever. Wario Land II is also exciting, even though it's kind of ridiculous that it's not coming until December since it's already out everywhere else. I'm also one of those crazy bastards who really enjoys Lost Levels, so I'll probably grab that too.

... Eeeeeeew, Castlevania the Adventure. X____X

Jolly good show for the rest of them, even Super Mario Bros. 2 because it'll be an official release of that game that people can beat thanks to Save State!

Bad news: this probably means there'll only be six VC releases for the rest of the year.

Good news: all six titles interest me.

We'll call it a draw!

Fixed.

And although I appreciate some of this, they've got a really blatant case of false advertising to address... where's my Kirby's Dream Land 2, NOA?

Yeah, I haven't heard good things about this Castlevania game. However, having recently played through Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge on the Game Boy, I can say that that game is excellent!

Why Shaymin, it's in your copy of Kirby's Dream Collection: Special Edition of course!

You mean the collection that says "Kirby's Dream Land 2 is available on 3DS Virtual Console" in the little book? Yeah, I own that one. However, I'd like the opportunity to play it in a portable form on a handheld made in this decade.

Not really excited about buying Ninja Gaiden again (have it on Wii) but save state is a strong attraction.  It's probably the game I most love that I have never beaten.

It think I would buy a lot more VC if it was unified across Nintendo systems.

Just found a copy of the GBA Mario Golf: Advance Tour and have chipping away (no pun) at it....   really fun game. But I'd love to have it on the system all the time, play a few holes here or there. So Mario Golf could be my first downloaded GBC game.  @NWR_Insanolord, why is Tennis so much better than Golf? Just a personal preference or something else?

I'd pretty much skip all of these because I have the old cartridges but that save state feature they have been giving the virtual console games is nice!  it's the only reason I repurchase them.

I never actually played the GBC Mario Golf, but I was a huge fan of the GBA one, which was actually number one on my list for our top 10 GBA games feature. I just like the tennis gameplay better, and that's the one I have the nostalgia for.

Do you think they will have the transfer content "unlocked" in Mario Golf? Or perhaps they'll have a way to let you communicate with Mario Golf on the Wii VC? Or am I just wasting my time even asking this?

The last one. Definitely the last one.

(Is it bad that I had to look up if Mario Golf on the N64 was even *on* Wii VC?)

I really dislike the fact that NES games take up a spot which could be filled with a Gameboy, Gameboy Colour or 3DS Ware release. Nintendo have made it pretty clear that they're going to continue their policy of releasing 2 or 3 games a week, so the fact that NES games are considered to be in the same bracket as handheld virtual console games really sucks (especially for people like me who already own these games on Wii). These NES games were drip fed to us on Wii, to have to wade through them a second time is kind of demoralising.
Gouge away.
