It's free because when I wanted a game, I pirated it off the internet. Techinically I never paid for it, but i am able to play it anyways on my PSP.
Fixed

I apologize.

Probably shouldn't have asked anyway.  Was kind of hoping there was a stupid trade-in deal or something - the kind where you can get more value from trading a game than it costs to buy, for example.  GameStop occasionally has deals like that - I remember one point in time being able to buy a $10 game at Zellers and then trading it in at one of two different GameStop stores in the same mall for a straight $15 profit.

I recently picked up Telltale's The Walking Dead.

Overall, I'm digging it. The characters are what really seems to drive the experience.

Seriously though, WTF is with those crappy QTEs? They're f***ing terrible. I find myself sometimes dying 7 or 8 times simply because the game requires me to click in a really specific location. They really do detract from the game.

There have also been several occasions where I've felt like the game has set something up as being a choice when in fact it isn't. You're given the illusion of choice, but in reality you won't be able to proceed without performing certain actions.

Overall though, the writing and characters are great. I have just finished Episode 2 and am looking forward to playing the rest.

Batman: Arkham City - Armored Edition

I got it last week during the Best Buy sale. I like it and will probably finish it along with the Catwoman levels and Harley Quinn's Revenge, but I couldn't care less about finding and unlocking everything, namely the Riddler Trophies. I'll probably trade it in after I'm done with it, but It was a wonderful value at $20.

I keep seeing people praise Tomb Raider, but I'd feel bad about buying it given I have two unplayed Uncharted games sitting here.

You should at least get the first game first. It explains a lot of things that are taken for granted in the second one. Especially since Tomb Raider is an evolution of that concept and going back to them would almost feel like a step backwards. (Maybe not for U2.)

I played the first Episode on my PS3 and was appalled by the lousy voice acting and QTE's. This game does not appeal to me at all.

I'm currently playing through Luigi's Mansion 2, and I'm loving it. I don't get why NOA decided to drop the "2" from the title.

1 is definitely inferior to 2 in all ways.  I'd actually say 2 is even better than 3 just because 3 is a new story with barely anything different in the gameplay from 2.  2 is also better than Tomb Raider.

Between the two, it depends on your preferences.  Action is more prevalent in Uncharted whereas the puzzle solving is a little more important in Tomb Raider.  Or if you just like looking at a woman hero over a man hero.

I just bought Liberation Maiden and Crimson Shroud on sale for 50% of each.  Both are games I wanted when the Guild01 series was first announced and even though I won't be getting to them anytime soon (currently playing through Radiant Historia and have Paper Mario Sticker Star after that) I had to take advantage of this deal.

I traded in my copy of Tomb Raider PS3 to Amazon for $54.00 and ended up making a profit of about $9. I used that credit to purchase the 3DS version of Virtue's Last Reward.
