Nice PSN sale for Final Fantasy games. I'm picking up PSOne Classics versions of Final Fantasy 7 and 9, and also Tactics (probably the PSP remake unless I hear a convincing argument for the PSOne Classics version being better*) for $15.

Is the IV Complete Collection (with The After Years and Interlude extra content) worth $10? Not sure I cared enough about the base game to really be interested...

*Edit: Ok, now I can't make up my mind between the PSP remake and PS1 original. [*snip*]

*Edit 2: Settled on getting the original (PSOne Classics) version of Final Fantasy Tactics. Cut scenes and an improved translation are appealing... but so is trying the original experience and having better support for TV play via PSP video out or PS3.

I hear FF6 is suppose to be good.  I'm wondering if its on sale and worth it.

It's great if you like old-school Square RPGs, and well worth the $5 they are asking... but most accounts suggest that it's better on Wii Virtual Console (as Final Fantasy 3) or GBA if you have those options available. Most commonly stated reasons: loading before each random battle, supposedly a few minor glitches. I haven't played the PS1 version so can't confirm or deny.

Went ahead and picked up Diablo III for $30 (highest I paid for an VC since 2008).  I kept missing those $10 deals (Toys R Us + Microsoft Game Store)--still overall pretty pleased with it since I imagined to get a few legendary items within a few minutes of online play.

Also nabbed Persona 4 Arena--$20+tax.

And lastly picked up FFIX for $5 from PSN.  Couldn't find my 2nd disc so this is more or less my replacement.

I had a gift card so I picked up DMC on PC. It's pretty good. Some minor complaints about the combat. Don't like using the triggers to select different weapons all the time. Other than that thing the combat is pretty solid. The story, on the other hand, is abysmal, but it so doesn't matter in this type of game.

Wargame: European Escalation.

I haven't played it yet since I don't have the bandwidth to download it right now, but waiting for it to come on special at 75% off was well worth the wait.

4 GB of extra RAM for the computer. New TV to dual monitor with.

I think I will continue rolling in ignorance as to what Skylanders is after seeing that collection.

I think Skylands has just supplanted military shooters at the top of my list of 'Games I don't give a s*** about'. Followed closely by Animal Crossing and everything Kojima has ever made.

Bah, I'm blind.  I don't know why that looked like a Vita to me.  I was wondering where the Wii U gamepad was located. :) :Q :P:

Got Brain Age: Concentration Training. I was pleasantly surprised at the Wario's Woods-inspired minigame.

Bit.Trip Saga (3DS) is $10 for the entire series in one convenient download? Glad I had some credit left over.

Just in case anyone with a PSP or Vita doesn't already know, Valkyria Chronicles 2 has dropped to $10 on PSN.  Fantastic deal.  Go get it now if you haven't already!  I paid twice that price a while back, but can't really regret the purchase because I think it was a steal even at $20.

I just got 'To the Moon' from steam for £2.37. I'm looking forward to experiencing it for myself, as I've tried to avoid spoilers for the game knowing that I would pick it up at some point or another.
